the truefree 01 are possibly the worst headphones that I've ever used. but that doesn't mean that these headphones are completely devoid of value. The Truefree 01 are an ahead of the year headphones. that means that the truefree 01 aren't headphones that actually go into your ear but instead the truefree 01 sit in front of your ear and blast sound into the area right in front of your ears. this is awesome and terrible at the same time because these headphones allow you to hear your surroundings without any kind of obstructions. but as headphones go the truefree 01 Don't sound very good..

It is not fair to say that sound quality is garbage. Based on my personal experience, the sound quality is fantastic and you do not feel sore or uncomfortable wearing it long.

@@MitchellMillennial I totally disagree. To me they are so comfortable that I wear all day long at home. I even forgot of the and went shopping with them and almost ruin them showering with them on(they survived but they scsred me when suddenly I heard "power on"). Another example, I bought the creative outlier free+ and they hurt like hell, I cant use them. The make me pain. Other people say that they are super comfortable. It totally depends on your shape of ears I guess.

I bought them and I like them. They're comparable to Oladance OWS1 Open Ear Headphones for fit and comfort. I think the sound is very good and they have a charging case that extends battery life. My only complaint is, the case is unnecessarily large.

They are good. In general this company is reliable. I have their what earpods as well and the reviews on Amazon are also very positive. So, when you review do not start a video by saying that 'do not buy these headphones' unless you are really sure about what you are saying.

After watching the full video I have the feeling that this is not a fair review. In another comment you say they are the most uncomfortable earphones you have ever used. That is because you and the girl are wearing them wrong, look at the manual where they show you how you should wear them. The back part should stay at the middle of the back of the ear, not as down as you show in the video. They sit more horizontal to the ear. They are uncomfortable because you are wearing them wrong. Also I dont understand the comparison with the Soundpeats air 3 and 4(I have the air 3 deluxe HS), they are totally different kind of products, they are more traditional airpods like and block the ear canal unlike the Truefree that sits outside. About the sound quality, you should try them with wavelet and their custom profile, they sound amazing for the price and tipe of technology they use.

@@MitchellMillennial I can jump with them and they don't fall. It's just the impression, you get used to it. Try them with wavelet and their profile. They have a very good sound quality for the price.

The sound quality is not bad. These are perfect for my work environment. I am in different loud areas where I like the ear buds to block out some noise while delivering music and I can hear thee person talking to me. Great! Now if I can get them to stay in! My ears are small and they won't stay on my ear. That's my only complaint so far

"Open back" headphones are definitely not an "odd concept" -- they're one of the two basic designs, the other one being "closed back". And as earphones go, they're way more comfortable than earbuds. No, you won't get the same bass response as in-ear phones, but then, many in-ear phones exaggerate the bass to sound more immediately impressive. And yes, you'll be able to hear ambient noise, but then, they're not intended to be used in a really noisy environment. Fwiw, I've just switched to the Truefree 01 earphones from some Panasonic RP-HS46E earphones, which are also "on-ear", but are wired. And if you think the Truefree 01 drivers are big at 16mm, the RP-HS46E earphones have colossal 30mm drivers 🙂

For running and cycling they are perfect, you can hear the traffic etc but still listen to your music and podcasts. Quality of sound is 8/10 bass is not the best but I listen to actual music where the artists can play real instruments and can actually sing. So for me they are perfect

Sanag about 30 bucks on Amazon.. I were them in a full helmet and a half helmet. They sound damn good.. phone calls r on the bad side. They have 2 kinds I tried the 1's that have the back of the ear bigger then front. They r comfortable. I was watching this to go to a better pair for phone calls.. lol in helmet

Ironically, talking about them being a new style, I have been looking for open ear headphones like this to replace my 2006 open ear one that I used with the Xbox 360. The 360 one is so comfortable so I hope these open ear ones are too. I only need it for speech.

You can hear bass, but you can't feel it. The sound from what others say online is good, but not great compared to more expensive & even some cheaper third party brands. But this has good value because it's budget.

@@MitchellMillennial I didn't say that. I said other reviews said the bass is OK and the music is good. If I were to buy them, I wouldn't be too disappointed because I'm spending less than paying for a more expensive brand. This would be fine for the budget but other companies offer similar for the same price or less.

DON'T BUY. These are not intended for athletic uses. I received my first pair for Christmas 2023. I returned them because the right side stopped charging and turning on about 5 weeks after Christmas. The second replacement pair just crapped out yesterday. Again, the right unit is not charging or turning on so they are going back to Amazon a second time. Unreliable and poorly made to handle basic exercise usage. 0/5 stars

I agree with you! its not for athletic. I sweat a lot when i jog and everytime i get sweat it starting to automatically turning on and of. Im only using it for a week and now it doesnt charging anymore.

@@veneration1that’s what I’m worried about. I’ve bought the Soundpeats ones twice now and had 2 faulty cases that won’t charge. So kinda pointless. I’m so disappointed as they were really comfortable, but I can’t keep going to the post office to send them back so now I’m looking at other options. But if I get some from the same company, I don’t know if I can trust them to work.
