“Nosedives” That is called the pilots realising the nose gear is gone and they are keeping the nose pitched up as long as possible so that it can come down gently without causing serious injury and severe damage to the plane or runway.

The landing gear failed? It probably fell off, honoring the tradition of Boeing.

Yet again the media overreacts nose gear didn’t come down perfect controlled landing that aircraft will be flying with in a week no problem
@HappyCow2888
@HappyCow2888 11 дней назад
Overreacts? Should a gear landing on a plane not be coming down then? Is this totally normal and nothing to worry about, especially seeing as it's another Boeing culprit?
@tosspot1305
@tosspot1305 11 дней назад
@@HappyCow2888it's a well rehearsed procedure and it's actually more common than you might think
@HappyCow2888
@HappyCow2888 10 дней назад
@@tosspot1305 of course they rehearse this procedure, as they do with a lot of others. Does this mean it should happen? And that when the media reports on a pretty vital failure of a passenger aircraft, that it should be considered overreacting? It just sounds like you’re on the Boeing payroll to me
@tosspot1305
@tosspot1305 10 дней назад
@@HappyCow2888 The Boeing payroll? Listen to how ridiculous you sound. First of no one here has said gear failure is normal. The OP said the media overreacted.. Which this article has done purely for sensationalism. Second, it's not a passenger aircraft, it's cargo. Shows how much attention you paid to the actual article itself. Third, it didn't 'smash' into the runway as described. The pilots did a very controlled long rollout landing perfectly which they're trained to do. Fourth it wasn't anywhere near 'horrifying'. It was standard approach procedure for failed gear. A problem which, by the way, isn't exclusive to Boeing aircraft. This kind of thing happens to Airbus planes aswell. Rather than looking objectively at the world around you why don't you just continue to chomp down on msm bs and keep it to yourself.
@HappyCow2888
@HappyCow2888 10 дней назад
@@tosspot1305 yeah, no one said gear failure is normal, you just said it happens more often than you think, suggesting that you think it isn’t newsworthy. I never alluded to this only happening on Boeing aircraft, my Boeing comment was a jab at them having a record of poor quality planes, news which has come to light recently with the two whistleblowers who were killed, you don’t know about this? Don’t hear it on your alternative news sources (Facebook). Wow, what a surprise, a tabloid newspaper is sensationalist to make more money, that’s never been heard of before. You really are a genius mate, keep reading more Facebook articles you mong
