I’ve never had the pee scared out of me.. until now. FNAF 4 is next level Also fun fact: sometimes I couldn’t hear the breathing, so I developed my own strat. I had my recording software open next to me and I have a mixer that splits the audio so when I go to check the door, I look over at my software and see if there’s a spike in the game audio. If there is I close the door, if not then I flashlight. This really helped me out since my hearing isn’t the best.

I was SO prepared for a jump scare on the first night because I watched markiplier play it and he said the same thing! That the first night wasn’t that difficult…and then got jumpscared😂

If your interested in all the mechanics of the game, I’d recommend watching a video called “How FNAF 4 Works: A Comprehensive AI Breakdown.” It definitely isn’t a video that you would react to (it is just explaining game mechanics after all) but it is really neat to see how everything works, and some obscure mechanics you may have missed.

Important Note for Sister Location (Fnaf 5): Start recording before you open the game. The opening cutscene only plays when you first open the game and you can’t rewatch it, so remember to start recording before playing Sister Location.

The reason the jump scares work so well in FNAF Games (IMO) is not because they are scary per say, it's the fact that the games is a masterclass in building tension. Through visuals, sound design, and it's mechanical all intertwining together. That's why it still worked nearly a decade later. The later games lose that tension and are far less scary, but, they play on different types of horror (more so, AI gone horrifically wrong, so more Sci-Fi horror than traditional horror).

What’s even more scarier is that you realize that a child has to deal with these things!

I have such an appreciation for this game because it changed the formula while keeping the FNAF atmosphere. And certainly upped that scare factor.

Considering you had me worried, I'm really impressed. :O 19:45 Nah, Foxy showing up in the closet isn't a sign of a game over; he's just one more location to maintain in the gameplay flow. The hard part is figuring out what his unique gimmick is if you're on your own. (Nice work giving him just enough attention to satisfy him that you beat Night 2 👍) Since it seems like you never saw the full extent of Foxy's gimmick: You're intended to hold the doors closed on him to make him devolve through a few stages until he becomes just a cute plushie (you can check the stages by shining the flashlight). The more stages you revert him through the more time you give yourself to not worry about him so you can focus on the other three spots, but since that also requires time away from the other spots (time you should only use for Foxy if the other threats are well under control), what you did isn't a bad strat either, to give Foxy minimal maintenance to keep him from attacking.

This is my favorite in the whole franchise, I remember beating it in 2015 when I used to be 11 so clearly. I remember being so proud and happily looking at all of the stars I had in the title screen. It was on my phone with a very shattered screen too, not sure how I managed to pull through lmao I still feel the splinters sometimes

When I played this again I'm terrified now I remember how it feels to play this game again just the ambience and running and turning up the volume to hear the breathing and unexpected loud jumpscare😂

This was my favorite game, and looking back, I chose the best/worst one to buy. The mechanics and game is really good but I get too scared to play it half the time

Fnaf 4 is one of the best games in my opinion. The horror inside the game aside, the controls are very cool. And its the best. You need the volume all the way up. If you cant listen closely, game punishes you with a high jumpscare sound and visual.

A lot of people say they dislike FNAF 4 but it’s my absolute favorite in the series. Setting the lore outside (which I actually like what it introduced) the fact that we’re in a child’s room at night trying to keep these “nightmares” at bay is just really cool! The ambience is quiet and soothing, but eerie enough to unsettle you all the same.

Now the next game is sister location, I also recommend looking on how to find a secret after beating the game (you can move on to ffps, but you should go back one day) because it basically unlocks a new mode which is very differrent from the main game, I actually like to think it's a different game, I like sister location, but that mode makes sister location be my favorite fnaf game

I normally don’t get scared when I’m watching other people play horror games but for some reason that Bonnie jump scare made me jump up from where I was sitting 😂

Fnaf 4 is one of the toughest out of all the main 4 Tips: 1. You have to listen for breathing and you have to talk less. 2. In the 1st night nightmare chica will be also active, she'll let her cupcake run towards your room so, be aware of that, idk how to deal with that. 3. When your flashlight is flashing it means that the freddles or nightmare freddy's children is on your bed, the only way to make them go away is to flash your light at them. 4. In the next few nights, nightmare foxy will be active, he'll go towards the closet, and the only way to make him disappear is that the right side of the closet will move, you'll have to shine your flash light and if you see him close the closet after then flash your light and repeat the same process. 5. Aftet each night, you'll have to deal with plushtrap, which you already dealt with. 6. In night 5 or 6, nightmare fredbear will be active, not other nightmare animatronics will be active, with fredbear when you see him in each hallway close the door immediately, if he's at the closet same with foxy, if he's on the bed shine your flash light, i dont remember how to deal with him on the bed.

As long as you keep an eye on Foxy, he will not attack you when he gets in, as long as you regularly check up on him through his progressive stages.

In the first night of fnaf 3, nothing happens. Gameplay wise, its meant to be a tutorial. lore wise, this is a horror theme attraction place thingy, and the people funding the place are looking for an authentic animatronic from the original diners, they find one by the time your second shift starts, they found it and brought it to the building
