its just a quick hit to the gun when it shows up. The crowd was not big. Even the guy on that side of the barrier could turn his head quickly holding the chin and the upper part of the head for a quick cancellation. It's insane how he was allowed to shoot five times on the target 🤦♂ . Poor man. 🙏
@wentoneisendon6502 because wef controls European politics an some would say world politics. But you look a bit slow so wouldn't expect you to understand that.
I can clearly see that the security guy in black suit after the first shot already has his arm on the attacker’s arm. That s a 1 second reaction and made possible that he only got hit by the first bullet. People can’t even see a video in detail anymore. Most comments are completely wrong.
Yes, but the one in blue was the closest but didn't move or spot the danger, look even how he jumped instead of facing the danger he took few steps behind and pulled his side arm
His security details are so incompetent. Or, they thought they had no job protecting him because he's so liked by everyone? Should be a lesson for all security details in other countries, protecting especially, leaders with certain views. Could see some other crazies attempting to imitate this soon enough.
trust me bro, Fico is anything but liked in our country. Just old folks likes him, mostly in rural areas in the central and eastern parts of Slovakia. Handlova - name of the town where this incident occurred is small mining town mostly with conservative thinking. Biggest shock in our country was that this happend in this kind of town. So yea security probably kinda underestimate the situation and then just went full confused mode what situation escalated.
I'm probably not the best to answer this cuz i'm 20something from capital city so i'm by default more liberal and i absolutely despite his government and what are they doing here.Nevertheless he was democratically elected and thats fact tho. Biggest issue with him is the fact that he's powerhugry. His governance have done a lot of good things for a country i cant denied that but way way way worse things also took place. Journalist murder in 2017 cuz his ties with italian mafia, corrupted politicians from his party, corrupted justice and police, oligarcs, and just genuine populist hatespeach towards liberal opposition. He is that where wind blows he goes type of politican so he builds his rethoric and campain on xenophobic topics and just using the fact that our rural demographis is very conservative and scared of everything which isnt "slovak". This is really complex topic i would recommend to check out some articles on guardian or bbcnews but to take everything into account he is not a good dude at all. However this act of violence is horrible and it shouldnt be part of democratic society.
@@Geseimkunstwerk Appreciated you intelligent and well thought out reply to my demand. Being 20something doesn't make you any less aware of the goings on in your country, and doesn't also make you unaware of the need to support efforts to protect her and preserve her for the future generations of which you're a part all. The older people who're taking this stance, have looked at the past, and wondering what the future holds, following the direction some of your European leaders have adopted. Believe me, if you've experienced some the issues among those they're letting in, you'll be scared as well. Luckily, you've got someone like Fico, whom you admitted, has done some wonderful things for Slovakia, despite some of his short comings. Every successful politician is power hungry. That's why they fight to win the seat(s). But what they do with the power later, is what makes the difference in whether they care for the citizens or not. I have read some reports on why this man shot him. Specifically, because he embargoed arms supply to Ukraine. Maybe, he believes that's an effort to end the senseless war, which should never have started in the first place. Whatever the reason, I wish him a quick recovery. I think Europe needs such a patriotic leader at the moment.
@@monikatrajanoska9803 The west only supports democracy when the democratically -elected "leaders" are on their side. Just look at what happened to ukraine in 2014.
Kimshim, another NaziOrc. Doesn't matter what happened they come out of the sewers "Israel, Mossad, tribe, little hat". Interestingly we don't find you people on the streets saying those things.
That SOB is the result of progressive liberalism. He did not like Prime Minister Fico for his national policy. He is a supporter of President Čaputová, who during her 5 years in office did nothing for the people, and only cared about the LGBTABCD... community
@@lizroberts1569 Indeed it has, Miss Roberts! It's all downright pitiful, really! Alast, we can't but hope that this unpleasant business starts to take off on a more positive incline. It couldn't be soon enough!
@@user-ym9qw3gg3jso killing people for their political views is ok? Then I’m sure by this logic it would be ok for them to assassinate MLK jr right? His ideas were not entirely popular at that time either.
Is it just me or did they move slowly from the helicopter to the hospital? Or am I watching too much tv and they don’t really run with patients on a stretcher?
I think TV dramatizes it. Running with someone with intense trauma on a stretcher will cause the movement to likely worsen the injury so its safer to prioritise stability
They don't run with patients on the stretcher because that would be stupid. First of all everyone has to be going at the same speed for that to work and everyone runs at different speeds. And secondly, it's a tripping hazard and if one person carrying the stretcher trips and falls It can put everyone in danger, especially the person on the stretcher. It's also a hazard to other people in the halls where they're running because running into someone can cause someone. Yes you do watch too much TV but I guess you're also lucky enough to have never had to go to a hospital to see actual people carrying stretches in action.
We never run with patients. That would be the most stupid thing to do. It would mean saving 5 seconds with a very high risk of losing 30 seconds or more. That is also the reason that whenever an ambulance is driving by slowly with the lights flashing but without a siren, you may suspect that it must be quite serious inside.
They made a big mistake putting up those barriers which created a barrier between the gunman and his security guards allowing him to empty his cartridge security guards police should of been on both sides of the barrier scanning the crowds of people before he arrived to meet them .
This foreign aid law exist in the USA and UK, so why such a fuss of other countries introducing the law has become a Russiphobia law . This law will protect from foreign interferance specially from the west
he is more like where wind goes he goes type. Power hungry politician who need to appeal for more conservative side of our country to be still in the government. Unfortunately people here is rural areas are super afraid of anything beyond their home. But when it comes to "breaking a bread" he would absolutely obey western politicians cuz money. Usually our simpler part of population is still voting for him and never questions that he's openly lying to them. So yea it's bit complicated but to answer your question, he probably is not but he might be if the opportunity appears, which is even more dangerous.
@@pinkdiamond1847 In our country Indonesia we always see snipers everywhere around the president, even though nothing ever happened threatening the security of our president
Correct note. In the Hungarian 'independent' leftist news they are calling the assassinator a 'gentleman'. Hmmm.... and still nothing happened, everybody is shocked and hoping Fico's survival, they are already talking about how brutally they will be surpressed by the government after this shoting... Interesting
The CIA had nothing to do with this incident. They honestly couldn’t care less about Slovakia. They didn’t shoot Kennedy either: Cuba did, and they covered that up with the Warren Report in case the American public started to push for atomic weapon intervention on Cuba.
Ladies and gentlemen let’s be polite here yes the security failed , yes he is pro Russia and yes he was many times accused of many thinks BUT it doesn’t change that the act is unacceptable in democracy.Slovakia 🇸🇰 brothers and sisters are not bad people, they are still in our side, zdravím 🇨🇿🇸🇰

@@lizroberts1569if someone dont want support war or prolonged the war its automatically Putin pro russian supporter? Most of Europe had good relations with russia till someone started making coups across eastern block countries. How its possible civilian casualties of 2 year war are lower than in Palestine for a couple of months? And we still support Israel who its killing civilians in greater number.
This looks like a set up. After 3 shots are fired the policeman in the white shirt reacts slowly. He must have missed hours of sleep and was on drugs. Why was there no Security detail in plain clothes on the side of the barrier with at least also two other uniformed men? This is a very very strange arrangement.
Hmmm this stinks; 1. Where is the blood? 2. How did he manage to get off 5 shots, at least one on target, whilst being tackled? 3. Why was the security detail so innefective? Those lads looked really handy - yet they acted like amateurs.
Am I wrong in seeing the shooter about 2 arm lengths from our Fico score? And the bystander in white, long-sleeved shirt to the right of the right most security guy lunged for the gun even before the 1st shot?
If we check the video clear the closest bodyguard was the one in a light blue texido, but his reaction is slow compared to the one in black who was a bit far from him. Something is fishy😊😊
Worst bodyguard ever in 21st century. They can’t stop the guy to shoot victim and watching like an idiot. Even third world country like Bangladesh security forces are more professional and active than them stupid. Who’s tought them to protect? I feel bad for victim and people of Slovakia.
