I love how this show doesn't blame the guy for not knowing, and "being dense." It's not his fault that the blue haired girl didn't even tell him, after nearly 8 years.

I think Aya absorbed all the density that Nasa would've had in this anime, Her ultra-thick density allows Nasa to be the chad he is today.

One of the things I appreciate about this show is how it avoids the pitfalls of unnecessary, contrived drama. This subplot could have easily become a drag. But they address it relatively quickly and they allow Aya to move on from her crush.

Too bad they didn't leave in the part where the mom cuts the flashback.

It wasn't until this episode when they showed the landlord of Nasa that I realized that this takes place in the "Hayate the Combat Butler" universe. Explains why both of them were able to survive the truck. The landlord is Wataru and Saki the maid.

The level of candidness to which Kaname operates at is UNREAL. There are times friends/family make questionable decisions, but sometimes it's just SO QUESTIONABLE you have to awe at how illogical they must've been to reach such conclusions, and just want to see how far they're willing to take it. It's like seeing a trainwreck in slow motion; it's a terrible occurrence, but something about all the carnage and twisted metal makes it impossible to look away.

i respect the decision to clear all misconception literally the second time we saw her, instead of using that plot point until it'd become boring

FINALLY!!!! An anime where everything gets said out in the open like it was second nature. No overcomplicated beating around the bush, or in almost all romance anime beating LITERALLY EVERYTHING AROUND THE BUSH TO DUST BEFORE GETTING TO THE POINT. No overcomplicated love triangles (or disgusting ones at that). Just a nice wholesome anime about two people trying to live their lives as a married couple until one of them is outed by an upcoming backstory that will move the story into an overarching plot that will probably make sense with what we have seen all throughout the show thus far. Don't fight me on this, the keen-eyed out there know what I'm talking about.

It’s funny. I normally don’t watch anime like this but I decided to give this one a try. And I am pleasantly surprised by it. Yes the characters look a little young in their art styling and stuff. But I really like it just the fact that it’s literally just these two newlyweds living their life.
