I'd say Ghostface's best opponent is actually Leslie Vernon. Both are literally from the same kind of movie, and are in the same power level.

For micheal vs Jason.I want there to be a scene where Jason thinks he kills micheal so starts walking away. Then micheal (in the background) does his sit up and Jason (foreground) senses it and stops. Turns around to look at him, which covers micheal from the camera, then he steps backwards to reveal that he is not their anymore. Then gets jumpscared.

Tall man vs Pinhead and Freddy vs Pennywise are definitely my favorite mu's. You could do a lot with these characters.

The only issue I have with Ghostface is that there’s a total of 9 separate Ghostfaces across the entire Scream franchise, so analysing Ghost Face will probably be pretty tricky, as Ghostface isn’t a person, but an alias

I could see Jason and Michael starting a fight with them both possibly chasing people who are leading them to each other(how I've seen a good chunk of fights happen in monster/killer vs movies) or them both closing in on the same group and as the victims scatter, they eventually spot eachother and fight. Considering they're both slashers we need them using bystanders as meat shields and weapons.

Slappy vs chucky is my all time favorite match up. Not only have I grown up reading and watching goosebumps, but as a kid, I was terrified of Chucky. Now a days, I greatly appreciate the movies.

Fun and creative match ups, all of them. of the ones I'd like to see being actual episodes (in hopes they'd be done right): Freddy VS Pennywise, Pinhead VS The Tall man, Gingerdeadman VS Jack Frost (surprisingly), Chucky VS Slappy would all be fun. But my absolute favorite idea. It would be Ash Williams VS Herbert West. Makes more sense and would be more fun than Frank West VS Ash Williams, that's for sure. Glad to see at least one of them is coming true, so I look forward to it. BTW, any reason Creature from the Black Lagoon is excluded from the Universal monster battle royal? I know that one's less popular, but it's still really iconic. I'd also include the Invisible Man, but it's debatable if he counts as a monster since he's just a regular man; just invisible. (Though there are 6 movies within the Invisible Man series under universal.) Anyways, I'm just going on a tangent/nitpicking. Fun stuff as always! Keep up the good work.

Also joining in with pennywise vs. freddy topic; I think Freddy does win despite not being a macro-cosmos level being, just because 'It' has basically the most horrible weaknesses possible which make Freddy a literally perfect counter to him. He can be killed via his mortal heart AND dreams, on top of the belief element which I think is explained great in the video. We see repeatedly in the nightmare on elm street franchise that Freddy has quite literally become an eternal force which cannot and will not stay dead no matter what is done. Regardless of his method of defeat or even being completely forgotten by the living population, he STILL exists in some sense and retains enough power to at bare minimum Resurrect Jason Vorhees and sent him to Springwood. I think even if It caught Freddy in the deadlights and transported his soul to the macroverse to be destroyed, Freddy would STILL reconstitute in the dream realm sooner or later depending on how much fear of him exists at the time and the souls he'd devoured. And as soon as he did, 'It' would completely fall to pieces. Ontop of It's usual weakness to belief and faith in ones own self; IT would be utterly destroyed by the idea that any being could survive the dead-lights. It's morale would be completely shot the moment it saw Freddy again and it would be easier to kill than ever. Outside of that interaction, I think Freddy would likely know about Pennywise before the fight took place. Not only from kids he could kill which may also free pennywise, but the MOMENT Freddy enters It's dream state he's going to know virtually EVERYTHING about it as he usually does while in someones dreams. This ability alone could potentially lead to Freddy knowing EXACTLY what he's dealing with from the very start and not only avoiding the deadlights, but immediately dominating the fight from the very start. Possibly allowing IT to 'think' Freddy looked at the deadlights just to induce that same super-helpless despair in the entity that I talked about earlier.

The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers VS Pumpkinhead would've been great too! Both are seemingly indestructible and small-town cryptic type of characters, local legends. A grieving father or mother who's son or daughter was killed by the Creeper, could've obsessed over The Creeper, waited for him to come back to feed, make a pact with the witch of Pumpkinhead to summon Pumpkinhead and use him to kill the Creeper. The Creeper, proving to have intelligence in his movies, could try to get to the parent who summoned Pumpkinhead or the witch, killing them in hopes of stopping Pumpkinhead, having to try to get past him. Both are very animalistic and relentless killers as well with supernatural abilities and durability too. Just a thought.

I know it goes against the theming of this video, but my preferred opponent for Ghostface is actually the killers from Hot Fuzz; the neighborhood watch alliance. It could straight up be a total war between all the people revealed, plus a good way to use all of Ghostface’s material and talk about each individual on both sides, sort of like in the Power Rangers VS Voltron episode (Except with A LOT more people of course). Edit: granted there’s the elephant in the room that the NWA killers have a lot of guns, but there is Ghostface from Call of Duty where he has the guns. Yes, seriously.

22:39 Weeeeell, teeeechnically the Ghostface in DBD is not related to the Scream series in any way, shape or form. BHVR Interactive didn't get the license to the Scream movies to use Ghostface, but rather the license to the mask itself (since it's owned by a separate company called Fun World), so they advertised it as "Ghostface DLC" rather than "Scream DLC" and made a completely original character called Danny Johnson to wear it. So it's not only not canon to Scream, it's a completely different thing as well

These are some cool matchups. Jason vs Michael is 99% going to happen after SpongeBob vs Aquaman, so that’s going to be fun. Also, Ash has Frank and Juliet Starling as good matchups that aren’t Herbert. The only problem with Ash vs Herbert is the fact that they have already fought three times before.

I've come to really love the idea of a universal monster battle royale. Of course I think Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman need to be there, in terms of the Mummy I think it should be Kharis instead of Imhotep as the latter only appeared in 1 movie while Kharis was in 4 and was more of a traditonial mummy. I'd also include the Creature from the Black Lagoon AKA the Gill Man in this, not sure if I'd include The Invissble Man or Phantom of the Opera as they are basically just normal humans biologically. I'd have the set up be a thunderous night where a coach is carrying the Gill Man in a tank, a sleeping Kharis in a tomb, a coma toast Frankenstein and a dead Dracula in his coffin. Lawrence Talbot, as a employee reads out a scripture that brings Kharis out of his sleep and he attacks, causing the coach to crash which also breaks the Gill Man out. Lawrence starts bleeding from the crash which drips on Dracula bringing him back to life, the lightning then strikes Frankenstein causing him to come back and lastly the full moon rises transforming Lawrence into the Wolf Man which fully commences the fight. I'd actually like to see it in live action as well as in black and white and my biggest wish would be for James Rolfe to direct it

For the universal monster battle royale, I can see either Dracula or the mummy taking the victory. Since they wield more power than Frankenstein's monster or the wolf man. Those two would have wall level strength at most as far as I know.

Some horror matches i would want to see on deathbattle William afton vs the bunnyman (Fnaf vs creepypasta) Two psychopaths who wear rabbit costumes and kills people. Subject delta vs nemesis (Bioshock vs resident evil) Two people who were experiment on and were turned into monsters Norman bates vs jack Terrence (Psycho vs Stephen king) Two people who works at haunted hotels/motels(in the psycho books the bates motel does becomes haunted by Norman. And the psycho movies hint that norma is haunting the motel) and are crazy. Not sure if this counts as a horror mu Morbius vs vamp (Marvel vs metal gear solid) Two people who were turned into vampires by a accident. chrysalis vs the xenomorph queen (My little pony vs aliens) Both are ruthless creatures with the power to spread their colony. Also chrysalis's original design was gonna look more like a xenomorph. And she is inspired by the xenomorph queen

Krampus VS Sam is also a good one! Connections between Krampus and Sam is that both are bound to a rule for their holidays respectively (Halloween and Chirstmas) and will tormit anyone who break it's rule. There's probably more, but that's all I have for now.

Although the idea might not peak Death Battle's interest unless we get super lucky, Chucky Vs. Slappy honestly sounds like a really fun watch. Plus I'd also like to add that Slappy is faster than Chucky, but mainly thanks to his teleportation powers. Although, he can only use that ability as long as there's a strong enough light source available that'll give him that chance to move around, from lightning strikes to simple spotlights turning on, cuz without it he's stuck just strolling and running around as fast as his dummy legs can carry him. So Slappy might have the speed advantage to challenge Chucky, as long as he's got the right setting on his side. But, on the other side of the battle, Chucky has the strength and durability advantage thanks to his own abilities. As confirmed by the Chucky TV series, Chucky is made stronger than you would normally expect thanks to the power that's granted to him by the mighty Damballa. Plus, he can naturally just go into normal doll mode to ensure that he doesn't feel any pain that comes his way (as long as the damage being dealt isn't too much for him to handle like, you know, fire lol.)

when you mentioned Matilda I assumed you meant Roald Dahl Matilda and that made me imagine a battle royale with Roald Dahl's characters. (Matilda, Charlie Bucket, Fantastic Mr Fox etc) and I honestly would wanna see that, but if i were to do it I would composite them (novels, movies, games etc) and from what I know about the characters It would come down to Matilda and oddly Charlie Bucket. Matilda because of her power and Charlie because in the games he gets a variety of power ups, candy powers and stats such as breaking through HUGE blocks of chocolate or taking small explosions. I'm not sure who wins as Charlie has a better arsenal to work with while Matilda just has one very useful power. Also for the universal picture monster battle royale i'd root for Dracula due to his variety of powers.

Jason Voorhees has been stabbed, shot by firing squad, lethal injection, drown, fatally mutilated, hung by the neck, burned to a point where he should be dead and yet he won't die... he just regenerates and keeps fighting... I classify him as a ghoul, a type of undead.. Freddy vs Jason, Freddy Taps Jason to kill people and spread fear, Fear strengthens Freddy...however Jason after being disturbed, regenerates from a desiccated Corpse in a shallow grave. If we just use the more recent movies for reference. The thing with Freddy and Pennywise is they both feed off fear, but both take differing paths, Pennywise takes a corporeal form every several decades where he reads the minds of child and adult alike but he savors children both their fear and physical bodies for sustenance and he doesn't need his prey to fear him to grant him strength tho it helps him hunt more efficiently by employing psychological terror against his victims. Freddy was burned alive and before passing on was offered a way to keep existing and long story short, became a dream demon, he can infiltrate your dreams and manipulate your fears using your mind as a medium to engage in various actions.. to place a geeky kind of equivalent to his power.. he uses your mind in a similar fashion to that of a holo deck, using the victims irrational fear to gain control. Freddy relies on public fear of him.. he NEEDS people to know and remember him to feed him the energy to overwhelm and kill people and eat their souls while the victims bodies lay dead with wounds that cannot be explained but serve to cement his urban legend like terror... the thing is when Freddy is pulled from the dream plane into the mortal plane he loses all his power and will have to rely on whatever strength he had in life which means he has to overcome or deal with pain and physical damage which he has not felt in many years and would likely be shocking, dropping their mental barrier giving Pennywise an opening to capitalize on, possible however is Freddy might deal with him in a tactical manner and try probing Pennywise from the dream but I see the fight starting with Freddy entering the unconscious mind of a child who is stuck in the deadlights and that either alerts Pennywise when he starts feeding as he psychically senses a change in the kid or when Freddy takes possession of the kid to find out why the kid is catatonic / unresponsive inside the dream...... The Thing vs Blob..... if I remember right, the thing is an extra terrestrial mutating virus of sorts that is very intelligent due to its ability to absorb its targets memories as well as take their DNA and recombine it to allow it to take over the body and play Among Us with other potential targets...this makes it very difficult to kill it since any part of a host body can potentially spawn and generate a new working body using all the DNA it has previously sampled and its compulsion is to proliferate and consume, all of its parts are linked like a hive mind and all of its parts can separate and independently take off to increase its odds for survival. The blob was a man-made bacterial organism that was sent into space as an experiment to see what would happen to it when exposed to Cosmic radiation.....it's capsul crashlands on the outskirts of a small town. It's genetic makeup was mutated and now lives as a animalistic instinct driven for lack of a better word... Slime. This Slime shows characteristics of a classic D&D dungeon slime, highly volatile and caustic body able to digest or consume from any point of its mass, the more it consumes the more mass it builds adding strength and speed in various situations... since it can consume anything organic or decaying its potential for destruction is incalculable. Once it reached a size large enough to fill an Olympic pool, this ability to digest living matter was getting close to dissolving a human in 6 or less seconds. It should be mentioned that the Blob cannot be destroyed as far as we know, it can be contained when frozen, becoming safe to physically handle as long as it remains in a frozen state. In the movie remake, the town pastor retrieves a few crystallized chunks from the floor of a walk in freezer that was used for hiding, and placed them in a Mason jar and a time jump of some years later he's leading a new congregation speaking of the end times when a woman church goer asks when will the Apocalypse happen, to which he replies soon sister... very soon, as he holds up the Mason jar with the thawed and very much alive portion of the Blob. I don't think this fight will be who can consume the other faster but more like being one sided in favor of the blob.Blob... that is unless the Thing has consumed something with a HIGH resistance to acid and is able to capitalize on its ability to extract DNA from the Blob but in this case the Thing will prolly take the form of the Blob as it is a more superior apex Predator with a similar motive and stronger almost immortal body....as far as we know, with the blobs form the Thing wouldn't have an urgency to consume as fast as possible since it could just wait until prey arrives to find it's frozen gem like form and be taken back toa high population area where it can thaw out and feed. I don't have much of a comment on the other matches

I would like to mention for chucky v slappy that if we go for the army battle, slappy might win in that sense, his army is more varied than chucky's, has that giant pray mantis to kill a shit ton of them, and all the creatures slappy controls could buy him time as long as he manages his time well, giving him time to cast a spell to eliminate the chucky army, not even mentioning all the other monsters from the present day books and even his game, not to mention the blob that ate everyone, which he can actually summon if he can get its book. which I would assume. With all the material he has, I think slappy would slap the ever loving shit out of chucky

I'm kind of shocked to hear how much you're talking about the little fight scenes Death Battle includes. To me, Death Battle has always been about an analysis of who would win and nothing more - I always skip those fight scenes to get to the part where they talk about who would win and why, since the actual fight scene has nothing to do with that and just drags out the conclusion. As for horror matches, I'd like to see Sadako / Samara from Ringu / The Ring go up against the creature from It Follows.
