I think you've got something cool here. I honestly find most of the Alter shorts to be at least somewhat disappointing, but this is a great tease for what I think would be a good movie. You introduced mysteries, did some good character work, and make it compelling and very interesting. I'd like to call out the sound design as well. It was subtle, but noticeable. Good work!

I had to make myself familiar with a proof of concept film. So I did learn something today. There is definitely a viable idea here. Out character had a past which was teased and a huge mystery was presented. The bone sculpture from dream to reality was cool. It piqued my curiosity and interest and I do wish everyone the best in seeing this become bigger. The atmosphere and location worked insoarking the I want more vibe. Here is to future success. Funny mention of The Salton Sea as that was the spot in the 1957 film The Monster That Challenged The World was at . So far this looks good as a promo to the short or film in it's entirety . Just when things start up it ends so i'm looking forward to seeing this in it's entirety.

@@IsaacRuth Sorry bout that i didn't think anyone would pick up on that reference but i don't think i spoiled the plot one bit as you already told us where this is . . It's a good short but it has nothing to do with the 1957 film. It's way better . Do what you will with my comment i don't mind plus as i look at the comments no one seems to get what i said anyway. To be truthful you just gave the plot away from that old film but hey if no here picked up on the Salton Sea reference they won't know a thing about that film which is a monster movie & not a Cosmic type film. Do what you will i still liked your short. If it will help you i will in the future look for your name & pass on the shorts.

My dad lived at the Walton sea and it’s a total sh!thole! When he passed on 2001 I sold the place and was surprised anyone wanted it! It smells like dead fish everywhere, everything’s been eaten up by the salt. Nothing but old people and meth heads and that was 22 years ago!

Making the Salton Sea a character was genius. It screams horror, helpless, hopeless. And other H words, probably. Really well done. I hope this gets made and that you get all the acclaim this concept deserves! PS: I really hope you make this movie, because I *need* to know more about the Creepy!

Thanks for watching! Yeah the Salton Sea is such a unique place, I’m honestly amazed that more thrillers/horror films aren’t placed there. Fun fact, when shooting the b-roll there it was 118 degrees and we had to use a drone to scout the area first as the air was virtually unbreathable due to the rotting fish and methane deposits. Beautiful city.

Thanks so much! We had the feature script optioned to be developed as a mini-series in the UK but unfortunately the pandemic stopped it in its tracks, so having the rights back in our hands is very exciting. Always appreciate some good feedback

Fantastic Cinematography and camera angles. The Mom character was a very convincing actress. Great story too. Loved everything about it but BIG shouts to the DP cuz the camera angles, focus pulls and everything this was level 10.
