"On January 22, 2021, he lost control on the Hahnenkamm descent on the Streif shortly before the finish and fell badly at a speed of 147 km/h. According to the investigations, he suffered a concussion, a fracture in his right collarbone and a cruciate and medial ligament tear in his right knee" Wiki
Theres another one on this type of coarse a skier hits the gate wrong and rips his artery from his groin, as he slides down he sits up for 2 seconds and then lays back down dead...
@@drxyqt3267 dont think so you bleed out for at least 4 seconds at that castrophic rate, before PASSING out through blood preasure rapid loss, through ripping your femer bone from the socket to the hip with all blood vessels with it, your groin artery second biggest to your heart ones, in fact they nearly the same size...why split hairs you something macabre, whats the difference he certainly wasnt passed out looking at the 4 pints of blood that had just spilt out...was he?
@@wor53lg50 I´m trying to wrap my head around what you´re saying but I really don´t get it. This guy ripped his guts open, passed out shortly after and died one day later in a hospital. Thats what officially happened. I mean I dont get why you mention something about "why splitting hairs you macabre" whatever that means and your groin artery being second biggest to your heart ones. It just felt like you´re debating on who is on the right side, while Drxy qt was just correcting you because Reinstadler did in fact not "lay back down dead" as you mentioned. Only reason I could think of why you mentioned all that biology and your assumed rate of bleeding out before passing out is that you´re saying he did not pass out, but died instantly after sitting back up. But that did not happen and that is not my opinion, just what literally happened. Btw there are a lot more reasons why he could have passed out besides blood loss. Like head trauma or simply, pain.
@@dookie8209 i see no guts? In the middle ages your limps would be tied to horses then thered walk, or a springy branch of a tree was waited down then let spring back up untill the limbs was ripped off, the skier stumbled which caused him to do the splits and then his ski got snagged on the bottom of the gate, causing a yank to his leg whilst at full split causing the artering and even the skin to tear...
He was this🤏🏻close to reaching that finish line all he had to do was keep his head down and knees bent so he could’ve sailed on through the pearly gates……smdh🤦🏻♀️tell me bruh lived
The FIS sanctioning body could easily reduce the speed of these courses by almost 50% and the competition would still be great. No reason to kill skiers or injure them for life. Shame on the FIS. Ridiculous.
Agree. They nearly killed Body Miller too. Birds of Prey event. They used cheaper, rigid poles in the ground. He hit one and got badly injured- career ending.
Maier hat sich nicht mal verletzt. Sah spektakulär aus, aber Horror ist definitiv anders. Wenn man die Verletzungen von Kryenbühl so ansieht, ist Kryenbühls Sturz definitiv mehr Horror.
