Hey Georgia...I got a scary story to tell while I prepare a Limoncello..it's about a 18 wheeler truck driver who stopped at a Truck Stop to fuel up his rig and he was in a hurry to make it to Los Angeles CA so it was very dark and foggy so he was on his way when out of nowhere a young woman flagged him down and he rolled down the window of his truck and said to her do you need a lift to which she answered yes I live about 15 miles iup ahead so the trucker gives her a lift as they drove down 115 miles down the highway she told him to stop and she proceeded to get off but the fog was so thick she actually disappeared from sight and the truck driver decided to wait another 3 hours before daybreak when daylight appeared he noticed a little house over the meadow he went there to ask about the young woman and the father of the house said you must be looking for my daughter she died 5 years ago and the truck driver stood there in disbelief.
I knew Josh Malerman wrote Bird Box and the movie adaptation seemed great but he really hit my radar when I heard about the book Incidents Around the House. I was actually thinking he was a sci fi author until I saw the back to back releases in the horror genre. I’m really looking forward to reading more of his books!
yes!!! i must say, i googled the chapter it was in so that i could prepare myself and definitely skim read 90% of the animal stuff so it wasn’t too harrowing - i got the idea but didn’t have to read in detail that way!!
So many of these are on my TBR (and have been for like…an embarrassing amount of time). Going to the library tomorrow morning, gonna grab some of these finally!
Thank you for the recommendations, I appreciate your in-depth reviews and discussion. I love your hoodie, btw! On a side note, you have such a pretty smile!

Do you have read the terryfing short stories "Mr. Justice Harbottle" and "Squire Toby's Will" by Sheridan Le Fanu, the series of ghostly tales in the book Can Such Things Be? by Ambrose Bierce and the classic book A Warning to the Curious by M.R. James? If you like the terror genre you will love these stories. They would be great reading for this month.
Such a great video, I always wait for this one from you :) I picked up 2 books so far, Petrified Women and also Hidden Pictures today. Will think of some good recs to share with you and comment back :)
Hi, congratulations for your reviews. I have always followed your advice. I was really struck by the beauty of "Motion Detection", a thriller book that I found by chance on Amz while looking for a new book. The cover intrigued me, it's an unusual book with a spectacular ending, I highly recommend it!
