I think Pinhad is broken because he was a human once and he fought in WW1. After the war he suffered depression and he found a mysterious box and he opened it and it turned him into a Cenobite. After a while he forgot who he really was and now he serves his master Leviathan.
@@god14701 They burned him alive because he was a child killer, and enjoyed it. Freddy evaded justice and then the parents of the kids had enough and burnt him alive
Is no one gonna bring up the fact that he clearly had a crazy mother even if she did love him she was still mentally ill one thing i still don't get is that no one decided to look for a body or anything the poor guy was alone for at least 25 years did no one look for him I feel bad but I blame his mother for him becoming a murderer
@@denithwijesinghe4128 he was always bullied for being a freak as a child left to drown and he found the severed head of the only person who ever loved him if they were just nice to him then maybe things would be different
People saying that Jason is pure evil need to remember what he’s been through. He got left to drown by the people who were supposed to be looking after him. Then he had to watch his own mother get beheaded.
Was left for twenty five years to live by himself. I hate when people say he randomly aged up he survived in the forest hunting and trying to stay alive cuz his mom died if that’s not broken I don’t know what is
Jason is same mf who continuously kills innocent teenagers who haven’t been able to grow into full matured people and live life, he had already killed his Mother’s killer and attacks anyone that he sees. @@CrimsonZ6 That was the case from 4 onwards, but in the other timelines like the new films, he kills purely because he wants to. I mean, as soon as his prison bus crashes, what's he do? He starts killing again.
Wouldn't M3gan count as Broken? She was programmed to love and protect what she considers to be her sister. Even resorting to killing those who harms her.
More than influenced, since they didn't program her with a limitation like him not to "kill" or "harm a human", maybe if they did she wouldn't have acted that way.
@The_ghostface868 In reality, being an AI, she was aware of what could happen to her target, she is fckng cunning. But it is clear in part he was defending Cady.
Yeah but he still is broken due to why he turned into ghost face because Sidney’s mother was the cause of his parents divorce and he was broken then he turned evil villains don’t usually start out evil maybe some but most has had a tragic beginning
@@Dooddood2731 I don't think he cares, he just wants them to kill people for him SPOILER . . . . like he literally killed his own family on purpose and beat a murderer to it!
People saying jason is even a little evil don't realize his mother was the evil one, or at least a version of her. He's fully broken because not only was he born with a mental and physical disorder which caused him to get bullied and ignored when he was drowning, but he also hears his mother in his head telling him to kill campers and councillors. Since jason is a supernatural entity we can't rule out that the thing telling him to kill isn't his mother's spirit
@@gamerthings2559 anger and vengeance for being drowned and ignored, but the voice of his mother within his head is encouraged him to kill whether it be her actual spirit or just something wrong with his already shattered mental stability
En sí es maldad pura, no solo por matar personas inocentes, si no porque megan ya se veía tan obsesionada con la vida y la muerte, y uso eso como excusa para seguir matando mientras cuida de la niña. Arrhe que soy argentino 👻
Usually there’s rules that programmers give robots to keep them from going rogue. The number one rule is: never harm humans or any other living creature
Evilness can best be seen through ones recklessnes. For example, if you go to pick up milk, youre not evil. However if you dont give a shit about the lives of children on your way and kill them simply because they were on your way, then you are pure evil. Megan would kill the kids to achieve her goal. Shes pure evil.

Except for M3gan. M3gan is broken and not pure evil. Remember, she was being overprotective. Now, if M3gan in M3gan 2.0 gets more evil like Chucky or Jigsaw, then I will put her in the pure evil category.
She's actually neither she's simply designed to protect cady but does so in a way that she sees best fit which includes killing and getting rid of potential threats
I don’t think it broken when she start killing people for reason protection she even tell a reason to Gemma tho or maybe half broken and half Prue evil in the end she try to end cady tho but fail
@@artifacture2Pinhead and Elliott the soldier from WW1 are 2 separate beings, they showed that in 3 like the whole point of that movie was that Elliott wanted help taking down Pinhead because he was evil
There’s no doubt in my mind Chucky is pure evil. But, if you watch the TV show particularly Season 1 and parts of Season 2, you can see Charles was a case of evil molded by evil. A killer broke into his home and killed his father, then Charles killed his mom and the killer praised him for it. In Season 2, we learn Dr. Mixter was an early influence in his life, and helped him kill and embrace his killer self. They have a close relationship and Mixter calls him “Charlie” endearingly, she gained a lot of pleasure from influencing Chucky. Both of them are pure evil, the entire reason the kids stayed in Incarnate Lord is because Mixter wanted to see Chucky kill them there mainly for her own pleasure in seeing Chucky be “bad.”
Pinhead & Megan is Broken if im not mistaken, Pinhead was a WW1 Veteran & he is prossibility good because there is Episode where he try to fight another Cenobite just to protect the Protagonist also he was Hunting other Cenobite group too, While Megan she just need a friend...
Billy: Broken and Pure Evil Stu: Broken and Pure Evil Mrs Loomis: Broken Mickey: Pure Evil (he was basically a Danny Rolling stand-in) Roman: Broken Jill: Pure Evil Charle: Broken Richie: Pure Evil and broken Amber: Pure Evil Jason: Pure Evil Greg: most likely Pure Evil Wayne: Broken Quinn: Pure Evil and broken Ethan: Pure Evil
@@xanderscookingschool1497 he’s also broken. It’s clear that his mothers rejection is what caused him to go mad. He’s not a good person at all, but the reason he did what he did is kind of sad. He just wanted his mom
@dakotasmith6956 We've never seen what happened with them on screen, so it could be possible that his mother didn't reject him as harshly as he describes. Also, as Sidney rightfully claims, Roman chooses to kill people out of petty envy against his sister.
@@theintruder6085 Yeah. He kills because he is the embodiment of evil. Jill Roberts is a legit sociopath who is killing because she wants to become famous. She has an actual motive while Michael is a mindless killing machine. Who sounds like the more complex character?
To those that wander “How come Freddy is pure evil?”, having your unknown father be a lunatic and raped your mother and getting bullied in school as a result is not enough justification for his future actions. He stll had a loving mom, wife and a kid and he went to become a serial killer. Hes pure evil.
Its interesting how these murderers are always affected by a backstory behind them even though they do such crazy things. Its like they want revenge on the world, it has much more deeper meaning than you'd think, its kind of like a superhero backstory, but instead you look at the backstory of the villain.
What do you expect Pennywise is Pure Evil because let's face it he is a Evil Entity from another world that came to kill Children for fun and totures people.
Back story of jason: so jason is first seen as a bald deformed child, in 1957 his mother got a job as a cook at camp crystal lake, and as soon as they went there, jason would be the victim of being bullied, they threw him in the lake and drowned, his mother tried to avenge jason only to be killed herself, but jason did not drown, he later survived and safely got back up to the surface, he waited for his mother in the woods, after years of not finding her, he presumed her dead and went on a kill spree (hope this helped)
Pinhead is broken. He was a human who opened the box. And they came. They disfigured him until nothing human was left and only then did they make him a cenobite. The force of pleasure and pain
It really depends on which micheal it is it it’s the og version he’s pure evil but if it’s the remake he is more so broken cause he suffered a lot from child abuse and being bullied
I Would Classify Jason As Both Or Just Pure Evil, Since In Most Later Installments, He Killing People Who Aren't Even Related To Crystal Lake, He's Killing Just To Kill.

Billy is definitely not broken. There’s a different between broken and using a past experience to be violent. His mom cheated and left so years later he murdered a bunch of people? Nah that’s not broken…same with Jason he also isn’t broken
Jason is influenced by his Mother to kill people since he basically has the mind of a child and so he only kills people because he is a misguided and lost soul
Jason was murdered by a group of kids, and the people who were supposed to help him were too busy fucking. He became vengeful and now is basically a spirit filled with revenge.
Michael Myers is broken because his entire youth was him getting abused by a stepfather, not payed attention by his sister, and whenever his mother the only one to protect him got humiliated, it pushed him over the edge he was already on... I would say that Freddy is in-between broken and pure evil. You have to remember that he had a shitty upbringing. That doesn't justify him murdering children, not one bit. But still, it's something to keep in mind. (Before you say that he did more than kill those kids, I'm pretty sure only the reboot version of him did that, not the OG.)
Guys here's you corrections 1.Chucky is broken not pure evil He returned as a doll and didn't want to that life he wanted to be human but as human he also killed so he continued that same path 2. Leather face is broken so there 3. Jason Voorhees is actually the most broken slasher of all times because he was drowned when he was younger 4. Freddy isn't pure evil he was burned in a fire for Reasons but he died and wanted revenge so he's broken not pure evil 5.Megan isn't pure evil she's broken because her program forced her to be overprotective 6.Ghostface/billy is pure evil he killed people just to make a franchise and even nearly killed the girl that loved him 7.pinhead I'm unsure of because I haven't watched it yet srry more updates when I watch it:)
@@jesseangreen9613ya but you also have to consider the law suits that happened and who has the rite to what and if they Evan want to make another movie, game, or show
I won’t lie, Megan must have been a tough one to grade. Because it’s really complicated with her. It’s hard to put her in the broken category since she has no trauma or horrific backstory that motivates her actions like Jason or Samara (I know she isn’t on this list but I know her backstory better then I do Ghostface and Leatherface). But it’s hard to put her in the pure evil category since she is technically following her programming. I mean the lady (forget her name, sorry) did say and I quote, “Your goal is to protect Katie from ANY harm, both physical and psychological.” She never clarified HOW Megan should or shouldn’t keep Katie safe, just that Megan must keep her safe. Since she ended up trying to kill both Katie and the lady (again, sorry I forgot her name) in the end, I think I would also go with pure evil too but that’s a toughie.
Jason is actually broken. Because earlier before, Jason has been bullied because the way Jason looked. Jason wanted to kill everybody for the way he has been treated
He's literally a serial killer before he was dream demon which is also includes child murder and even got away from the cops because they had no evidence.
Chucky has sadistic desire to hurt and kill others, shown when his father was killed by the Hackensack killer, and decided to become just like him because he was inspired by the killers actions. He even protected nica i think by killing someone who being perverted towards her, and in some ways he didnt mean to kill, like in a way hes kinda forced to Im going to be honest chuckys probably broken and pure evil but mostly pure evil
Also, M3gan is broken and not pure evil. Remember she was supposed to be protective and she was apparently too overprotective. Also, M3gan has the behavior of a child and looks like a child and sometimes sound like a child. If M3gan gets more evil in M3gan 2.0, then I will put her in the pure evil category. For now, I have her as broken.
The only broken Ghostface is Roman Prescott, because he was rejected by his mother, and he was Sidney Prescott's brother, and he was also always rejected by everyone.
