Yep I’ve only fell off once but it’s was a pretty nasty fall my horse spooked and he went one way and I went the other, and I landed hard on my back and almost passed out, then after my back hurt for 2 months, then it was Thundering one time and my horse spooked and the spook was a small rear, and I almost fell off the side but I sat up straight and pulled his rains back and he stopped, and I still ride to this day ❤️
@@awhxlaya8019 haha! I love the way that it’s never the horse’s fault. “Poor boy, he had a pimple on his ear:” or, “that crisp packet was armed to the teeth.” A world full of horse-eating dust particles. 😖😖
It's always interesting to watch these. To be able to say, you saw your behind because you weren't in the saddle properly, heels weren't down etc. But some of them, it looks the the horses either don't want to be ridden or they are not happy with some part of the tack. But either way, it's always a good laugh
0:43 love that girl’s horsemenship. Right after she fell off, she got up and patted her horse, because it wasn’t his fault. She lost her balance, and that’s okay. Good pony.
When you feel like your going to fall off, it is difficult, but important to let go of the reins to prevent pulling on a horse’s face. (Also a lot of these horses were amazing! They were speaking up when they felt uncomfortable.)
Yes a lot of theese people held on to the reins and they were in a indoor arena. I get it if your outside hacking you need to hold your reins incase the horse runs away but in a indoor / outdoor arena it’s all fenced up so your horse can’t get out.
Whoa, whoa, bucking bronko, refusal ponies and indoor areanas with other ponies, and that bolting. I wonder if Harvey Smith ever experienced the gymkarna?
I like watching horse fails bc I used to think that my horse was bad but watching all these horses being bad I feel better that I'm not the only one who falls and has a hard time with me horse every once and a while
I don’t understand why people pull on the reins when the horses are bucking because it’s only going to cause more chaos in that moment. I also. Don’t understand why people hold on the reins when they fall off because it’s going to cause the horse more fright
@Horsemash 1. Humans don't have instincts. And gripping reigns would sure as shit not be one if we did. 2. It's a reaction. And if your reaction to falling is to grip the reigns then that means what you are aware of while riding is yourself and not your horse. Which means you should not be riding at all. If you had your mind where it should be you'd be very aware that you are holding the reigns to something inside of your horses mouth and your reaction would be to let go, not hold on. If that is not your immediate reaction then you should damn well make it a high priority to train that. If you aren't sure that you can fall safely then don't get on until you are sure ffs.
@@Caz_Hamilton yes, I fully understand that: the question is, “why?” What possesses these benighted girls to risk their lives and parents’ income on an animal whose IQ is measurable lower than the Pygmy shrew, and then pretend that it’s not costing all those involved the equivalent of a reasonable annual salary of someone working 40 hours a week in a testing job? It’s the clenched-teeth delusion of cost and injury that I don’t understand. 😳😳
