Life Size 6' x 6' x 30" Trail of Painted Pony by Official Trail of Painted Ponies Artist, Kathy Morrow
TOPP was a public arts project that became an international phenomena when the original life size pony were recreated as collectible figurines and sold world wide. Horse Feathers was one of the original ponies from the first year (2001). It was auctioned and sold to a bank in Albuquerque, NM and a limited edition of 5000 figurines were made of the image and rapidly sold out.
The pony was later sold at auction by FDIC and Kathy Morrow won her own pony.
The video shows the original creation of Horse Feathers and 10 years later the restoration of the pony's minor damages. It is now offered for sale
