We visited top show jump rider Todd Minikus at his barn in Wellington, FL, to learn how he likes to set up horse jump designs. First, he set the jumps, then we walked the course with him and finished the day riding the course. What an experience!
He used a variety of Premier Equestrian horse jumps, including the culvert wall, skinny gate, roll top, rock wall, and liverpool.
Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian, talked with Todd about horse arena design strategies, setting jumps for teaching young horses and riders, walking distances, tips for getting around the show course, and the importance of safe and durable horse jumps.
