Das Pferd, ja. Die Waldarbeiter eher nicht. Irgendwie sieht das alles sehr falsch aus. Das Pferd wirkt gebremst und verunsichert. Der Arbeiter müßte doch mit Zügeln hinter dem Pferd herlaufen und mit der Stimme Kommandos geben. Besonders auch Teil 1. Es ist kein freier Weg für das Pferd leer geräumt. Er führt das Pferd durch enge Bäume. Der Arbeiter denkt nicht vorausschauend, so scheint es mir. Sonst wäre die Arbeit für Pferd und Arbeiter viel einfacher. Das Werkzeug an der Flanke des Pferdes ist vermutlich auch nicht gut.

Is it a Brabanter I wonder

It is originally Belgian and/or Percheron horse. Japan imported long ago and now it was bred to become a unique horse of this heavy style called Banba. We even have banba race but I think using in work is great. My father had a horse living in his house for the faming but no longer.

@@hansstrouf that is in no way an ardennais, even if ardennais blood was used a long time ago like Kazuyo mentioned, the breed we see here is an entirely diffrent horse in terms of exterieur and allures and resembles an ardennais only in the sense that is has four hooves ;)

he doesnt carry it, he pulls it ;) but seriously, as the logs are on a sledge with this ground with lots of "lubricating" vegetation the load is not overburdening
