Formerly horses were used to do the hard work both in rural and urban areas. In the cities, they were used primarily for transports of lumber, soil, brick, manure etc. Ragnhild and Gerhard Johansson were the last to use horse-drawn vehicles for transports in the city Kristinehamn, Sweden. This film is based on images taken by the photographer Mats Holmstrand during the years 1975-1976.
