Your'e all missing the best prep-run of the season, River Tiber! Beaten a little over length in a Classic, first time out, and first time over mile. RT beats the two Hannon-trained horses in a re-match!
O’Brien would not know his best horse even if paddy and Mary Ryan who rides him out joe the blacksmith and Issac who drives the horse box were more than happy with him ! ! Hold on I will ask boys! They know a boy in the city
Think it might be a better year this year. More chances for the English now might get interest up again. Last decade of O’Brien pacemakers winning hardly set the race alight.
All you guys who have absolutely RIDICULED and laughed at Aiden O'Brien for things he was telling you went wrong with CITY OF TROY. He sorted out what went wrong in the gns and what happened, he wins the Derby. Not only that, it was two years in a row with August Rodin last year and got got him back to win. Especially the little guy with the goatee, tape measure jokes everytime he could get it in and GC as well for his remarks after the 2,000gns. I thought not only all you pundits/tipsters but everyone in the racing podcasts should be ashamed of the what they said about the greatest trainer in the world. Normally, he would be celebrated but he has one major flaw with all of you English pundits. HE'S IRISH! If it happened to Appleby, would he have been treated like Aiden, absolutely not. They say mud sticks but it didint stick to him in a certain period of his life and we know what that was. Very disgusted by all of you.
It's such a poor Derby. However it's last run and the real chance of soft ground I think it won't even go off favourite. Every run it has been up in the van and given it was beaten at halfway over a mile, unless they change tactics and drop it right out the back the chances of it getting home must be slim to none.
@@Essydyk There’s something clearly wrong with the Irish horses this year. Possibly the really wet winter we had. This was bourn out by the horse who won the 2000gns. He’d been running on the artificial all winter so was really fit. The trainer of City of Troy says that this is the best horse that he’s ever trained. By this very statement City of Troy really should win the Derby.
