Thanks for this video 👍👌 I just bought mine 2 mins ago! I watched This video a few days back , what sold me ( apart from Steve Jefferys, was the comfort you spoke of & more importantly the centre of the stirrups 👍 Thanks again 😊😊
G’day Lach Horse Product Reviews & Co ;-) I own the original Ammo prototype 16” medium wide gullet in brown man made materials. I had a regular girth mounted to it for ease & horse comfort. The fabulous Mr Steve Jeffries nailed it developing this awesome Ammo Aussie stock saddle. Have had it on a few different types of horses and put it to the test of bush riding, mustering etc. It has held up exceptionally well now apx 20 years old, and super comfortable too. It is extremely well balanced putting the rider in to the correct central position. I personally highly recommend an Saddle World Ammo to anyone looking for a super comfortable Aussie stock saddle with little maintenance. I also introduced friends with trail riding businesses in Mansfield VIC to the SaddleWorld Ammo, they also bought quantities too, & no I’m not sponsored! Will one day have one made in crock skin… With many source blessings with truth clarity love light laughter happiness joy fun play creativity adventures abundance wisdom and may peace be with you all! Great review, I have an older ammo fender and love it. I was wondering if this one also has the fenders attached over the tree or if they're on a stirrup bar?
I have three of these saddles, and while I agree on the overall vid above... I find it very difficult to shorten the stirrups to a position suitable for younger riders. Seems I can't do it without some modifications. Can you please comment on this? Some instruction would be helpful, perhaps another vid?
Sadly too narrow and too long for my American Saddlebred mare. Dark purple (widest) Wintec gullet bar is the only saddle that fits her. Well sort off. Not perfect.
