The bandaging process of a wound is really important because a horse, below the knee, does not have any muscle. As we are bandaging we need to be careful to protect those delicate structures below the knee while also protecting the wound. Bandaging a leg correctly is crucial as you can create more problems with an improperly applied bandage.
