You do a great job rescuing animals and they look well cared for. But I hope that this organization is able to obtain more training and skills for your staff on how to load horses in trailers that do not want to load. The loading was just bad horsemanship all around. From jerking the lead rope ( pulling and then letting go before the horse has a chance to move just confuses the horse) tying a rope around the rear end while pulling on the head just panics the horse more. Maybe your full time staff was not available and this was the best you could do at the time and in emergencies sometimes we have to go with what we have. Again, great respect for your rescue, but really bad example of loading horses and created unnecessary stress for the animals you are trying to help.
They’re so stupid they don’t yank on the horse they do it slowly and kindly they do not pull on the horses but they do not push him they wait for the horse to understand what’s going on in the actually let it be
Love what you are trying to do . But the way some of the horses are being handled is going to damage their view on people and make it hard for them to be rehabilitated and then adopted out to people that want to give them a second chance
Thanks for your time and efforts to help the horses and hope you are safe as well. Look into liberty horse training and communication it will help make it easier to work with them check out Carolyn Resnick method showing training and communication without restraints once you start their rehabilitation. Will make a big difference for both trainer and horse and reduce the horses fear and wanting to flee.
