What's amazing about these two horses coming to me so I can mount? Each one only had ONE training session a week ago where they learned this! Moose and Marshall each had one session a week ago where we taught them to step their hind end closer to the rider and to stand still. They caught on so quickly! I love teaching this! It is so calm and quiet and you can set the horse up so that they hardly put one foot in the wrong place!
Everything was done gently and slowly and it is like magic!
