Nah that wasnt it, they just werent familiar with their music other than jarren. jarren straight out said those dudes dope. The problem with the song is the bars were supbar and motherfuckin dizzy wright saying they already lost before he even starts his part. Then you got lines that horseshoe responds with like "You like kylie jenner's dad, cuz you lookin like a bitch now and you trans-parent. (see through and a transexual parent) Horseshoe gang have jokes on literally like every bar.
I mean whats upwith these ppls listening to rap? Maybe they are looking for a vibe and ignoring lyrics completely, because HSG and any other non battle rap MC's lyrics are not too hard to decipher. I just don't understand how even simple double entendres or homophones go over head of casual fans. BTW, HSG are the best non battle rap MC's for me by a long run. Rarely someone can out-rap or out-bar them, because they got that whole package.
i think its a combination of a fast tongue (its a twista song) but even in general they spit pretty quick, especially debo, but also most people dont know the lingo or vernacular or terminology whatever you want to call it. They hear rhymes that sound basic as fuck but dont get the hidden meanings, i think dice is the best example of this. Unless you know all the terms for drugs and slinging, you arent going to understand half his bars. Lyrically though, i dont think anyone is fucking with horseshoe gang. Actually I'd LOVE to see anyone go head to head with them, we'd actually get talent vs talent. Can we get HSG vs Mos/BlackThought/KingLos/JayZ or LOX vs HSG.

Anyway, can't remember any MC's with back to back bars no filler style who can spit like HSG.
