Wise Loaf oh I know bro! I was playing off the whole saying about cats, & how they choose there owners unlike dogs who are chosen! I’m bias due to my Chinese New Year symbol being that of the TIGER! 👍🏽😂😂😂 have a awesome day my man! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Maybe a something wrong with its brain too. They never usually go for people. But hey it's that time again when the mtn lions start coming down more often. When I was a kid, and they all came down in hordes, there was one in the front yard, and a few others around the area.
Not enough reason,They have a natural fear of humans like most animals,my guess would be it was young and unexperienced and did not know yet to avoid humans unlike older more experienced lions.
GUYYYYSSSSS.....He was able to establish a... dominant... position... and from here the lion cant do ANYYYthing, you guys he had such a deep understanding of Jujitsu. 100 percent thats Mind Blowing to us learn Jujitsu guys what are you waiting for we have seminars check it out at Graciejiujitsu.com 1000 percent.
Randy Nickel I thought the same thing. At first look at the dude when the video started I said to myself, “My isn’t he frail. How did he miraculously overcome a mountain lion”?
"We are in THEIR territory"... Oh really? Territory is just territory.. It belongs to whoever fights for it. Right now it's OUR territory =) Go team people!!
Yep. What the L.I.F.E.R. wildlife "managers" won't tell folks about - is the bounty in Colorado from 1929 to 1967 that made attacks "rare". Now - the predators are becoming desensitized to human contact, again. Meanwhile, human cattle have been indoctrinated into a false sense of security. Look for numbers of attacks and fatalities to predictably increase accordingly.
I've been telling people for years you can choke out an attacking animal the same way you choke out a human. Let them get close you will take some damage but lock that choke in and don't let go until they stop moving.
Haha. Please post a video of you choking out an aggressive Rottweiler or pit bull as an illustration. You will get torn to pieces. Now make that a 150 + lb wild animal with claws. The only reason this guy suffocated this cat is because it was very small, probably no more than 40 lbs, and was most likely famished and inexperienced hunting. You are extremely foolish if you think you could “choke” a fully grown mountain lion. An animal so powerful that it can jump almost 20 feet vertically and take down an elk. The muscle composition of a mountain lion is not like a humans. Even if you get your arms around it’s neck (which would absolutely never happen, because it’s ten times stronger than you, and has claws and teeth) its neck would feel like iron.
Fitness trainer was taken off his mountain bike and killed in So.California several years ago by a cougar. I have seen lions after being skinned and they are solid muscle. This lion was either half grown or sick! There is no way a person could out wrestle and kill a healthy mountain lion.
@@bitchslapyoass7408 what I'm saying is if he had one ounce of intelligence he could have avoided the encounter. A 35 pound cat is a real killer right ?
@@hopeyoung5482 it was proven that it wasn't 35 lbs the body was recovered but it had been partially eaten by another animal it weighed in at 67.89 pounds after being partially eaten it was estimated the weight would have been 80-95 pounds
So bad ass. But I always carry a knife on me out in the bush. I hike trails and explore hidden locations all the time. You must have a plan. He is lucky it was a young 80lb cat. Still, he is a warrior for handling that lion.
Why the Lion Attacked? Wow. We really think we are a special breed or something. Like we supposed to go into the woods and all the animals go, Alright everyone. It's a human. We aren't allowed to attack those.
I think its obvious why the mountain lion attacked, he/she was having difficulties putting food on the table so during a staff party one of their coworkers let slip that an organization needing recruits for a mission and would pay handsomely, faced with limited choices the mountain lion reached out to the far right organization and was tasked with the assassination of a political target, but seeing as the mountain lion had virtually no skills in this field, it eventually botched the mission and attacked the wrong target, unfortunately the lion was killed rather than captured so America can't even torture out of this lion what it's mission was nor it's contacts.
Kills BABY mountain lion. It would of been a whole different story if it was a healthy and moderate sized mountain lion. Glad the man is ok. I keep seeing this story in my newsfeed so much though it's getting a little annoying lol.
If you get a choke hold on a mountain lion it’s over for it. Especially a full grown man in flight or flight mode. Adrenaline gives you super human strength.
@@crazylegs1324 that'll be a difficult task in itself. Felines work real well on the ground and with start "bunny kicking" with its sharp claws, especially being a full grown. If one has a knife with them then that could do the trick.
Mountain lions a very shy of humans that's why you hardly see them . They rarely take chances going after prey they usually feel risky, so you can bet that cat was starving for it to take a risk . Either way when out in the woods it's always wise to carry at least mace, but a 10mm or 45 hand gun is best to have since mace doesn't always do the job ...lol... sure you may never need it bit it's best to have those items and never need them vs needing that one time and not having them . I get a chuckle out of folks going out into the forest alone with no protection plan ...darwin ?
They WERE shy because there was a bounty on them in Colorado from 1929 to 1967. Now? They're protected in the context of human cattle who've been domesticated/indoctrinated into a sense of false security. "Shy" = the stealth by which they hunt.
That village in India that was being attacked by tigers started warring face masks on the backs of the heads and now they don’t get pounced on and eaten...as often.
I don’t blame the guy for defending himself but what this tv station and every other tv show fails to mention is that the mountain lion was a juvenile & only weighed 80 pounds (Adults get up to 200). So his feat isn’t near as impressive as they’re making it out to be.
Look people the best way not to get attacked is to take your neighbors poodle for a run with you. Or your ex wife or ex girlfriend for that matter. Thank me later.
Well Jebadiah Springfield iced a bear with his bare hands, so I'm not too impressed, but I hope he gets charged with animal cruelty. I got changed for shooting a dog from another yard in my yard with a beebee gun. Just like me, he should have called animal control and waited for them. Maybe the lion would have only been chewing on one leg while he was waiting for animal control. Oh and it WAS their territory, humans won it in the Indian wars.
Vets doing a necropsy trying to find evidence on why the cougar attacked....hmmm let me think 🤔 I KNOW!! It's a mountain lion, and it eats meat!!!!! 🤣🤣
Yes he killed a mountain lion , but it was a juvenile ! Just had to point that out . People think this guy is Conan the barbarian ! Full grown adult Cougar and the tables would have been turned.
How many pounds was it? I find it unrealistic that the man could kill a full grown mountain lion. Even one that's sub juvenile should be a mismatch for the human.
@Aaron Neville That is so weird Aaron because I'm watching the press conference right now and the very last thing the guy said was he guessed the lion was around 50 lbs. After he said that I paused, went to get an apple, sat back down and saw your message. Pretty freaky timing there matey! But yeah 40 lbs sounds about right, it was very young and inexperienced. But even a cougar of that size is still a handful as you would expect. I think if it was a very large and experienced male bobcat of 50 lbs he'd have a much much harder time with it as a very large adult male bobcat of that size is about on par with a full-grown timber wolf. I know that lynx's of around 60-80 lbs somewhat outmatch timber wolves. I think the biggest part of why he came out like he did was the age of the cougar more than the size, because a fully-grown and experienced 50-lb wild cat would probably be too much for most men. Some healthy full-grown female African leopards get down around 50 - 60 lbs, you wouldn't be able to kill it unless it was in bad shape.
@Aaron Neville Running certainly may have been part of it. The reason adult cougars don't go after humans I believe isn't because we're actually not prey, because biologically we are. It's because we don't live in the wild so they don't know if we're prey or not, they haven't any intimate familiarity with us, we aren't tested. And they survive by leaning towards the cautious side of life so tend to only go for things they know about. What probably happened is this cougar lost it's mother and hadn't yet learnt to hunt. And those prey items it could take down it probably couldn't catch as they require ambush and it hadn't yet learnt how to stalk and ambush. And those things it can ambush or catch are too big to take down. So when it saw a human, it firstly ticked the box of being able to catch it, but then it didn't know if it was too strong to kill, but it was desperate and took the chance, a matter of life or death so cautiousness goes out the window. It would die anyway if it didn't try, so try it did. I just think humans have to get over being so precious about never been hunted and killed, it happens and should happen, it's normal for it to happen. In fact in part because we've by-passed the whole being hunted paradigm, we're now grossly overpopulated and it's not stopping. Humans will not control their own population, and we will not be hunted or assaulted by the natural order, we want to have the cake and eat it too. However that hurts the natural order as well as ourselves in the long run.
I have to deal with lions and coyotes at least have a dozen times a year I sleep with 2 firearms next to me just in case something gets into the bunker and starts killing the animals, there’s even something much faster and more dangerous than a lion, I saw it once but i couldn’t see it due to it moving so fast, I couldn’t even shoot it or run after it, it stole two of the chickens before I could even get a single shot off North America is home to more than we think, and all you can do is try to stay safe and keep looking over your shoulder
Always?... looolll how many times have you heard of man killing any animal with his hands?.... never.... so your statement is false... people die from mountain lions and other big cats all the time so you are wrong.
@@bitchslapyoass7408 It's strange i looked for a source on the weight and age ect and it gives both results for 80 and 40 pounds. I mostly don't believe the story as told because cats even of a smaller size have the ability to rip your face off.
