Another ridiculous closure that should never have happened. The very useful east / west link joining Three Bridges with East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells ,also including the built up towns of Rowfant and Forest Row. The actual eastern terminus was at Three Bridges not Horsham. The line had it's own bay platform terminus at right angles on the eastern side of the station and passengers had to change via the subway and through a walkway to get to these platforms. Beeching himself used the line to get to his own home ,but even that didn't stop the fool closing it !.
