The king gets away and the girl has to pay. Can’t say that I have a lot of respect for the way the king handled the situation. If he really loved the girl he would have saved her.

@Stickings90 i think its about two people who loved eachother, the guy who was the king, the girl with the brown hair being the queen or princess and the blonde girl being the kings girlfriend, and then the queen gets angry and jealous, so she orders the king to execute the blonde girl, and then near the end the king is sad becoz he loved the blonde girl more than the dark haired girl, and the ring, was probly the kings proposal ring to the blonde girl
Was she going to cook the duck/chicken as she was doing something with the oven, why did she accept her execution without any fight and at the end there is a very modern bench behind the tree.
oh I think they don't like it because the film maker refuses to give them all the facts requiring them to figure it out for themselves like why was the woman put to death? The clues are there but they have to be interpreted. I have my view on it. And there are those who just want happy wholesome stories
@@ElsjeD I was actually not involved at all with the creation of this film. I was travelling during that time. But it does feature my best friends at the time. The prince name is Samuel Vanclooster and he is now an award winning film maker in Belgium. My sister continues to be an actress and singer working on various projects in belgium and Los Angeles
@ olivia tg You just need to notice the scheming, conniving "woman" at 1:15 to know that it wasn't really the man's fault, or 'men' generally: as always - "Cherchez la femme".
