Not to be the party pooper here. I got this truck a couple of months ago and while I do love it, y’all need to know some stuff about it. It can’t handle 3S. Yes it moves and yes it is fun with 3S, but literally every time you put those batteries in there you’re changing a differential. I admit I bash hard, but it’s seemingly underbuilt for 3S. It can only take it for the occasional speed run. Also, even in 2S it will shred the diff quite often and I believe that it is due to the ESC braking whenever you let off. Unless you exercise complete throttle control the truck will front flip all the time and it will brake all the time. It basically puts immense pressure on the gears because the truck is not allowed to freewheel. I’ve also broken nearly everything on this truck even in 2S. 7 tie rods, an A-arm, both body shells (need to put a washer between the clip and the body), servo, suspension mounts, etc. I live on a farm. My only place to bash is soft dirt and I land in grass. Never been to a skatepark. Lastly. Most of the parts come from China. The diffs are completely different to all other models and are unavailable except from ordering through hosim. While the shipping is free, because the Chinese government subsidizes it, it takes FOREVER and tracking is through the SHOP app. The SHOP app weirdly knows where all of your packages come from and go to regardless of who you’re buying with and what. I would consider buying this car again, if 1. They upgraded the diffs to handle even the stock 2S 2. You could get parts stateside 3. I didn’t have to go through tracking with an App that is clearly buying up every last bit of logistical data about your entire household. (Not even kidding)
It truly is an awesome truck… I agree with you 100% stick with the 2S you will have so much fun and you will not break it… 3S… Now that’s a complete different story lol

For sure! I like it much better than the x07. Now, all Hosim has to do is make them with separate esc and receiver instead of 2in1. 80 meters is good enough but if you can go 800 or more meters, it's better!
Nice truck with loads of power and certainly seems to take some hammering. An esc programming card allowing you to alter the braking characteristics would be great. Excellent review thank you.

I picked this truck up and I love it The only thing I'm having a problem with is I don't know what batteries fit on which car I'm not very good when it comes to electronics like batteries and stuff I also got the DRC H16E is there any way you would be able to tell me what size battery for a 3S that I could put in it preferably one on Amazon I would like to pick up a two pack from there also I need to know a basic charger that works for 2S and 3S I don't need anything fancy just something that will charge batteries your reply would be greatly appreciated!!!
I really do like this truck. Wish that there was a way to change their braking set up. Other than that a winner in my book! Great job with the fpv. I’ve tried that a few times and it was great fun and very cool perspective! Very well done review bud! Take care👋🏻😎👍🏻
Thanks so much!! I'm starting to get used to the braking now after the second battery. Some might even prefer this quick braking. I would actually like to have the receiver and esc separate so I can use an elrs receiver. Hosim would benefit greatly once they do that. Cheers!! 🍺🍺
Biggest hunk of junk there ever was. Once I finally got the fkn thing to work for more than 5 minutes the transmitter broke. Don't buy these things they're not even toy grade
