First off, great review ! Looking at the holster there are a couple of things I didn't like. First, as you stated there is no sweat guard. That can be especially noticeable on a warm day. Second, the design at the bottom of the holster just to the right of the barrel area (if you were wearing it) protrudes down towards the belly. If a person is sitting in a vehicle or tree stand for example, that portion of the holster has the potential of poking the belly area and being uncomfortable, especially if one is larger or has a big belly. That area should be more horizontal and less downward. Of course wearing it higher up on the chest might keep that from being a problem. Maybe that's just the holster design for that particular Ruger pistol and other models are less so. It does look like a good chest holster overall and is priced very competitively. Would like to see them maybe change those two things before I would buy. Again, very good review.
Funny you mention that- this does poke me if I wear just a thin shirt. I only wear this with heavy winter clothes, which eliminate ls that issue for me. But you are correct, at least for this Pistol it is an issue.
Not saying this holster isn’t great but also check out kenai gun fighters inc chest holster it’s one I just got for my Glock 40 MOS and really like it.
Dear Murphy Firearms Training- I appreciate your RU-vid video, and purchased a Hosking holster because of it. But could you do me a favor? Please delete the last comment after your video.
