For years, my neighbor family has come to me for help & informing me of their children's marriage or graduation knowing I would provide gifts. I'm have caught them recently treating me as a joke in low class meanings because my work was not glorious such as their paths. I do well, but it is hurtful to be treated this way from good Catholics. I love America & everything it has provided my life, but I will not worship people for friendship. They are my neighbors, but it might be best to give them space & not be available when asked. What do you think?
The parable of the Good Samaritan is the definition of what Loving your neighbours means, the people of Israel used to hate the samaritans, but in this case it was the samaritan the one that showed the love that a fellow believer should have shown, Loving your neighbor. I think the Bible states that if a person is not a believer we should not expect the same behavior as we do. On the other side if they really believe in the Bible they should not do difference between rich and poor or any class as James states.
