Speaking as someone who grew up in an abusive home, it is so healing to my inner child to see how gentle and kind you are with Grace. She is one lucky kiddo to have such great parents!!

It made me so aware of how much work I need to do in telling people how I feel, too! You are all doing so well with your children, I want to be like you and Sierra when I have children. Can I just say i love how calmly you reacted to Grace throwing her cups. I'm sure you were already stressed from prepping for a big gathering and having a toddler around sure doesn't make it less stressful. Fully relate to Grace just casually grabbing an ornament to put in the cart. We can just pretend that I still wouldn't do that with my mom as a 32 year old lady.

I really appreciate sierra showing a short clip of how she interacts with Grace at a moment when it would be really easy to get frustrated and have a negative interaction. But instead, sierra explains that you shouldn’t throw things and offers an alternative instead. It makes me really happy to see parents adopting this method 💕
you and I have almost Identical hair, mine is just a tad curlier, and this method you're doing of putting a few heated curls in my hair on day 2-3 of wash is what ive been doing for years. I love it - doesn't damage my hair that much but allows me to have basically 4 days of perfect curls!

Having a Friendsgiving party is such a great idea. Getting together with everyone and sharing their favorite things from Thanksgiving is awesome and being able to get together with everyone is a nice pregame before the sometimes hectic holidays are here. Everything looked perfect.
As a fellow curly-haired person, I totally get how much work it takes to deal with long curly hair. I have a pretty similar texture and I always prefer my hair to be about collarbone length. I used to have it all the way down to my butt and it’s pretty but so much work. Collar bone is short enough for me to be comfortable enough with the maintenance and it’s still long enough to put up if I just can’t be bothered lol plus the layers on a shorter cut really help to add shape which I love
Your gentle parenting makes me realize how much I graved that as a child. I'm taking all the notes and want to be as gentle as you with my not yet born or even planned children (if I'll have any)!

I just recently chopped mine off from it being long. About your length but mine definitely isn’t thick. I LOVE my hair right now. It’s just below my collarbone, I can still braid it, put it in a bun, and everything else I typically do. It’s SO NICE, and much less maintenance!

I love the table decor! You definitely go out way more than we used to for our Friendsgiving. We always got random tables and chair used paper plates and red solo cups. 😂

Sierra since you like making cheese boards and decorating you should look up how to make really fancy decorated cheeseboards :) people arrange all the cheeses in a really fancy way that looks really nice

i just cut about 3 inches off of my curls and I am in love with it! before the cut it was the same length as yours and now it makes doing my hair quicker and it doesn't get quite as tangled!
I feel like a lot of layers and maybe some face framing could be super fun on shorter hair!! I'm sure you'll look amazing no matter what haircut you end up getting x
I loved the way your hair turned out! I would say to be careful with oil before heat styling - you run the risk of essentially deep frying your hair. I think very few oils are designed as heat protectants ☺️
What I do with those end pieces that don't fall correctly is I spray some leave I'm conditioner and water on those pieces and comb it in, then curl it around my finger and shake it to lock the curl, but we might have different textures.
