n this video, we take out Kadence based WordPress site and its fluent form through becoming a static site which is the pushed to GitHub a minor change is made and we then get it pulled by netlify you get to see the whole setup of the github to netlify part, it references the setting up of simply static to our Cloudflare pages video to prevent covering too much similar ground
This is a whistlestop tour the only things not done on screen more so for speed where, this video has natural non speaking parts as our site is committed and cloned and pushed but the process is quite fast.
We go from a WordPress site to it being on Cloudflare pages in no time at all,
2. Setup my Web Form (FluentForm) to work with simply static and my Flowmattic delivery hook. (I have already recorded this video as part of my Flowmattic email delivery video with emailit)
3. Signed up for Netlify and attached my git and cloned it for deployment including covering updates
The only premium plugin in this video actively used is Simply Static, although our flowmattic delivery hook requires a premium plugin too
This is really a one stop shop for turning your websites static using github and Nnetlify pages and should give you the tools you need to do just that with your own WordPress website.
Note: At the time of recording the fluent forms issue was present Simply Static have said they will add this to there process so you may not need to do this it will be best to check change logs.
