Hosta Praying Hands will form a very upright mound of about 12"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 24", at maturity. It is best described by one word...Unique! Well almost. Narrow green leaves are very wavy and folded upright and have thin cream margins. Leaves have a matte finish above but are folded, revealing their shiny undersides. Hosta Praying Hands has an upright growth habit that makes it a great container plant. Let's not forget the masses of lavender flowers held well above the foliage on 30" scapes, in summer. Not particularly sun tolerant but does have a lot of resistance to slugs & snails. American Hosta Growers Association, Hosta Of The Year 2011, & RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
