So spacious and beautiful rooms, never got a chance to visit girls hostel in those 4 years which I spent in GIKI (2016-2020). I would say girls are provided with more facilities hahhaha. We didn't have any kitchen, fridge, or machine to wash clothes 😀. But still GIKI is Love, it is my second home. I miss the weather, people, hostel environment. The amazing greenery everywhere and specially that big cage located alongside the road to brabers Building. It was really a nice time

I want to apply in giki this year... so could you pleasssee make a video telling about life in giki for a girl, what difficulties u might face living here , how do u sleep in summers... are there coolers in every room or what.. how do u manage in summers, just stuff u wish u had known before coming here... would reallyyyyyy appreciate it😊

It would be great if you could provide the info regarding hostel expenses from freshmen to senior year ! Plus is there different types of hostel or all students r provided with master bedrooms. Moreover how much a merit Scholarship covers for a student.

Hostels accommodation is free.. now there are new hotels for girls but just in case if girls ratio is high then they get placed in these bungalows in their first year.. mess charges are monthly wise depends how much days u eat in mess.. that bill is around 10k if you take all three meals everyday. Otherwise no other expense. Scholarships are different and many. If you get merit based scholarship then everything is free except mess bill i think. But there are mess bill aid programs for students too if they cannot afford. Hope this helps. Lmk if you have more questions😊

Its for all 4 years regardless of GPA as far as I know. But I’ll ask someone and let you know

Some scholarships for certain provinces have GPA Cutoff of 2.5 etc or varies.. but if you get merit (top 10) students in test then you get it for whole degree i think.

Hi I got the admission in GIKI , I would really appreciate it if you could please tell me are the hostel shared if yes how many live together and is it a must to share hostel room ? And are there any timings restrictions like nust that u have to be back at your hostel before 11pm ?

@@little.bitofeveryting_ no no I won't be joining GIK , my sister will be so that's why asking for girls , do they have time restrictions and how many girls share one room ?

Hey , I've just received my admission letter. That is why I am watching this video. Is this hostel accommodation given by the university ? Or is it some private hostel ? Plus how is the environment of the campus and city for female students. If you can kindly please reply :)
