You also said in one of your other videos that HR is NOT your friend and that once you report something, HR will do anything they can by backstabbing you to protect the company they serve.

Try to prove all these things mentioned in this video. Your coworkers will NOT back you up in most cases and will even lie on behalf of the employers to protect their own jobs or gain favour from the management.

Here’s the deal, if you work in a hostile workplace and you’ve brought up harassment issues numerous times and nothing is done, quit immediately. Try to secure a new job before quitting, but if the toxicity is too rampant, just leave right away. Your state of mind comes first. You’ll find a new and hopefully better job soon eventually. No one should be treated like shit at work.

@@GrippehI just don't get how either of you could just tolerate working in such a horrible environment for so long. There exist other jobs. Heck if you're in a populated enough area and your car is new enough you can work for Uber and not have co-workers or managers at all. The best job I ever had was delivering food for doordash. Sadly I lost my job due to what a background check found on my driving record even though my own insurance company said that it never happened but the DMV said that it did so I have to find some way to prove that my insurance said this didn't happen because it had something to do with my insurance in the first place so that the DMV can correct this issue and I can get that job back. For now I'm doing deliveries for Uber eats who found the same thing in their background check but they're allowing me to deliver food for them anyways. Unfortunately my car is too old to drive passengers though.

I was the victim of bullying that gradually worsened until it was day to day. I am the oldest nurse at a health care facility. I kept trying to ignore it but I hurt me to the point I can’t think of anything in else. I noticed a coworker friend being bullied and decided to speak up to the boss for both of us . Employees went crazy angry and when I was at work without a friend, the did things to intimidate me such as a group surrounding me and glaring as I was leaving, once a male employee stopped me from leaving through the exit as he tried to scare me. He prevented me from exiting the building for about a minute. I sent a letter to the boss and asked my rights be packaged and for the bullying to stop. Things at work that were bulling changed but the environment did not and it was in fact, worse. I know that I was told I was not allowed to do certain aspects of the job but a younger less qualified employee was. I am so stressed by all of the bullying, intimidation and hostility I don’t know what to do. I can’t quite prove it but inexperienced age discrimination trying to find work. If I lose this job I am worried I won’t find another. Am I protected

I'm an African-American man and I currently work in a beyond hostile work environment. I've been yelled at by a white female manager for being sick, who was meeting me for the first time,(bought it up to other management with video proof and no course of actions taken) belittled and called "bubbles the monkey", while also being threatened by a white male coworker, and forced to work in the same building as him, most times alone in another department. This happened recently in November of 2022, we are now in December and I'm forced to work in a building that has asked me to "keep quiet" while they "investigate". Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I had a coworker who would take physician order sheets out of the chart so tests wouldnt get done, the doctor would chew me out, they would call families, telling them we were abusing their fami,y member, all trying to get us in trouble. There are several other instances I cannot recall. The unit wrote a 7 page complaint against this person, explaing her hostile work environment in detail, signed by al, the coworkers who witnessed her behavior. HR told us to get lost. They werent interested in hearing anything we had to say. A few months later, miss hostile work environment gets written up for being mean to a travel nurse, she comes to me, wanting a shoulder to cry on, i told her i didnt want to hear it.

7:00 i didnt know it only applies for targeting protected classes. what about retaliation for acting lawfully and trying to do your job. retaliation against snitching. theres retaliation for not complying with illegitimate orders; ie coworker who decides theyre your boss and will make you obey thru punishment. 7:30 "the more we hold employers accountable for their wrong doing..." office warfare is SO BAD for productivity. most employers dont want this, itll wreck their company. but they have to know who the harassers are. for me the issue is helping employers hold rogue employees accountable. clearing off the riff raff; strengthening the company. by the time you hire a lawyer thats later in the process, when the employer is under accusation. i found that recap confusing since its an incorrect attitude until later stages of redress.

I am a white male. I have been harassed while working, set up to fail and even locked out of work by a manager with no official training. I was disciplined and required to perform additional training due to the negative impression the manager consistently presented. My union and management did very little to correct the situation. I had to walk off the job several times when the manager would not stop. Store closed. We were both relocated to different stores, but nothing came of this.

Hello, I work in a psychiatric hospital. Missouri is an one consent state, and I have a recording of my supervisor stating that they changed my job assignment to a more aggressive area because they needed a male. There is no BFOQ that exist that requires only males to work more violent areas. Does this qualify as discrimination? Thanks in advance.

make sure you express yourself. they prob did need a man, but theres still the question: why you. it could be retaliation, but not for being male. theres a gas station i go to and they never have women doing graveyard shift; theyre by themselves selling booze to night owls and a fair amount of riffraff. i agree with this, theyve been robbed a few times. sometimes i see customers drunkenly yelling at clerk. --- sorry for your situation.

So say a manager keeps setting you up and sabotage your work load with things like not helping you out when needed or saying they will watch your station when u go bath come back to a empty desk with 10 customers there yelling for help or telling new hires that your trainer is a drama queen don’t listen to her ?
@xakashinax7182
@xakashinax7182 2 года назад
Proving that your manager is, "setting you up" and "sabotaging your work load" would be incredibly hard to prove for a couple of reasons. One, it's unlikely your manager is actually doing those things. From what I've gained from your comment, it sounds like you misunderstand a manager's job, which is simply to manage and supervise the operation/business and employees. Even if you need help, it's not actually your manager's job to do your job for you and they reserve the right to not assist you if the business has more important things to attend to. Although it is nice to have a manager step in for you, it's also risky for the manager to do this because they are unable to perform THEIR management duties. If they are stuck in one place for an extended period of time, playing team member or associate, then they are, by definition, unable to supervise the whole operation. 2nd, when manager's help too much, it becomes detrimental to the business/shift. One, because employee's start to expect it too much and often become entitled to/reliant on help from management and two, because they miss out on other critical things during the shift because they're too busy playing team member. Manager's really shouldn't help you out with your duties unless it's absolutely necessary and will be detrimental to the shift if they don't. That being said, I would implore you to reavaluate your relationship with your manager and decide if you should really be pursuing a hostile work enviroment claim against them. These types of claims are very serious and can have life-long, legal consequences for the person accused. I would be very careful to not allow any pettiness on your end allosw this to escalate to something that can ruin another person's life. Now, if your manager actually makes you feel intimidated in your workplace then you might have a claim. A manager, "not helping enough" is not a hostile work enviroment. A manager harrasseing you, insulting you, attacking you, or acting agressive is a hostile work enviroment. There's a very distinct difference there and you have the responsiblity to make sure you know the difference before making such bold claims.

"don’t listen to her" /// sounds like he wants to waste the company time. someone is paid to train and someone else to be trained; thats the task asked for. whatever the manager's opinion, theyre going about it wrong. they can overrule something specific. they can tell trainee to use their own judgment. not listening as a blanket statement is disruptive if taken literally, but often statements arent phrased carefully or literally. if its not obvious, hes engaging in clique building. hes increasing the chance youll be disrespected. the trainee will see they can win favor by antagonizing you. sharing an object of antagonism is an initial step to forming mutual protection pacts. _i dont like this person, if you share my feeling we'll become buddies._ for me its not about laws, its about exposing trouble makers to the employer who wants to run an effective team. if my employer tolerates chaos and office warfare, i work somewhere else.

Is wrong to allow 1 person to be the only one to use a machine at work because of the price it costs the company to buy it. This means no other coworkers in the same group and stratus are trustworthy enough to use it but have not even been allowed to prove that they would be okay with it. Then a new worker starts and gets to use it. Hmm.

This is posted on Yelp and Google reviews. Indeed would not publish it. I am writing to express my deep concern about the workplace harassment that I experienced while working at Florida Custom Marble (FCM). The incidents that I endured over the past 18 months were deeply distressing, and I strongly believe that they were rooted in ethnic and cultural biases. Throughout my time at FCM, I repeatedly endured verbal abuse from one coworker in the form of ethnic slurs and aggressive behavior. Yelling and shouting matches between coworkers were a common occurrence, which created a hostile and stressful working environment. The situation reached its peak when one coworker threatened me with gun violence, which was both unnerving and unprofessional. The final incident occurred when I walked into the conference room and expressed surprise that some individuals were present because I thought they would be at a NEFBA skeet shooting event. One coworker then stated that he would rather shoot me, which I found to be a deeply troubling and unsettling remark. I reported the incident to my manager, hoping that action would be taken to address this serious issue. However, despite my complaints, my manager only offered me two options: accept an apology or work remotely, which only accommodated the aggressor. This left me with no choice but to resign as the harassment had become intolerable. During my final day, HR met me, and there was no exit interview or separation documentation provided. When I stated that I was leaving due to a hostile workplace environment, I was scoffed at, which only added to the sense of disrespect that I had experienced while working at this company. I expected a higher level of professionalism, and this lack of response was extremely disappointing. Furthermore, I was shocked to learn that when a former associate tried to visit me at the workplace (after my departure), he was told that I was not available and had to leave immediately. He was quickly escorted to the door, which was locked behind him. This is extremely disconcerting and raises questions about the company's culture. The correct response is to say he is no longer with us, can anybody else help you? On a side note, I was able to call the Veterans Administration hot line to receive some counseling to help me work through this chapter in my life.

You may be a true partisan of justice in the workplace, but it has been my experience with so called labour lawyer that they are nothing but shysters who don't give a damn about you and often will not take your case because they can't necessarily make millions off of it. In Canada your labour unions don't help either and if you find them ineffective a lawyer will refused to get involved in a "union matter". Justice is a joke in either country in North America and is utterly disgusting.
