둘 다 버려질까 두려워하는 거네.안타깝다.서로 제대로 대화라도 했으면 좋았을텐데.

I am not joking But if u have watched this epic drama, you will realize that the other dramas are nothing compare to this one There are lots of good kdramas but this one is the best with all emotions

승냥이 지켜줄려고 하다보니 여기까지 온건데 자기가 바라는건 황제도 뭣도 아니었고 걍 조용히 사랑하는 사람이랑 사는거였는데 황제도 불쌍하고 복수하기 위해 살아가야만 했던 승냥이도 불쌍하고..

타환이의 비틀린 사랑과 집착이 안타깝다 불쌍한 타환 ㅜㅜ 오늘도 배우 연기가 다한걸로~

마지막 노래 가사 미안해요 그댈 사랑해서 왜 이렇게 가슴에 와닿는건데 .. ㅜㅜ

둘다 연기 압권이다 둘다 서로에게 버려질까봐 두려운데도 철저하게 숨기고 불안한 감정선을 표현 잘 했다는게... 타환은 승냥이 뿐인데 만족하지 못해서 지금보다 자신을 더 사랑해주길 바라고 승냥이는 적이 많고 사랑해도 자신의 일로 인해 눈밖에 날까봐 밀어내고...

She loved both Wang Yu and Tahwan 'till the end. But the difference is the ammount of love she had for both. She indeed loved Tahwan more bcz if she loved Wang Yu more she would have never forgiven Tahwan and would have resented him for killing Wang Yu for the rest of her life. And after all, remember, Wang Yu might be her first love but Tahwan is her true love. She actually fell for Tahwan since beginning, you could see their chemistry. She was just in denial, besides the fact that tahwan caused the death of her father stopped her to love him. But she was really already into Tahwan since day 1.

아효.. 황제 이 쓰레기야ㅜㅜ 승냥이한테 상처주는 행동좀 하지말라고 .. 그건 그냥 너 욕심과 오해야

I cried my eyes out in this scene too..it was full of emotions from both ends..emperor is all lost without her and she is handling so many things together...the only fact is they loved each other..if she didnt wanted it she could easily stop him..but she didnt... and lastly the acting by both of them is some other level...jichangwook was literally the best in this drama...

This scene broke my heart because he always respected her until that moment. He could force her when she was his consort, but he didn't because he wanted her to love him too. when he did this he was at his limit, obviously that doesn't justify the rape and yes it was a rape because she didn't want to be with him in that moment it's very sad because the two loved each other a lot but the circumstances screwed up them *I want to add that their acting was amazing. One of my favorites dramas*

Sometimes when I watch ancient dramas I find it hard to believe they actually did “it” bc they are always fully clothed in the next scene after they done the deed.

뭔가 달의연인같다 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 마지막에 점점 불신고 ㅏ 슬픔

If it wasn't Wookie playing this role, I would have hated the character. He did such a damn good job. He was the one actor that portrayed so many emotions. It was like playing 10 different roles.

The scene was fundamental in showing us that Sungnyang truly loves the emperor. She couldve easily stopped him but she didn't, she couldve gotten angry at him but she didn't. She understood how he felt and had been witnessing how he was slowly drift away from her and it was slowly killing her too. Sungnyang didn't start loving Togon after they got married, she loved him from the begging hence why she was heart broken when she told him to forget her, and she doubted and though of him when Wang Yu asked for her to be his queen. Wang Yu was her first love, The emperor was her true love.

This was 2013 drama but I’m just watching now after I’d seen JCW’s The K2 , Healer and others.. this drama is absolutely thrilling that I can’t stop watching until the end.. it’s all 50 episodes so the longest I had ever seen. The heroine tough woman is really incredible that every audience loves her role and the emperor JCW is very funny during the first episodes then got stronger anyway. Wang yu and Taltal roles are remarkable indeed.

this scene was so hard to watch. as a woman I'm like NOOO don't force yourself on her but as a viewer I completely sympathize with ta hwan. all I see is a broken man desperate for love and affection, he feels abandoned by nyang. when she first became his concubine she was always by his side and they worked together on everything but once they defeat el temur and his family she starts going off on her own, seeking power and money, we know its to secure her, ta hwan and ayu future but still, she should have carried ta hwan along with her plans. Her distance plus the fake love letters drive him to alcoholism and when he's drunk he gets extremely violent. all I see in this scene is a drunk, broken and hurting husband and father, i dont see a rapist.

아니 시이발 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 어렸을때 이거 나와서 보는데 그냥 앉아서 볼수가 없어서 끼야아앙 하고 거실 모서리 가가지구 벽에 달라붙어서 훔쳐보듯 봤던게 기억 나넼ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

저거 처음에 7회인가 8회인가 거기서 당기세가 한 거랑 똑같네;;

It's sad that Sung Nyang wasn't vocal of her love for Ta Hwan but it's undeniable that she genuinely and deeply loves him. Her I love you to the emperor during his dying moment was satisfying as hell. I felt so happy for Ta Hwan. That fake letters was frustrating too. I wanted Ta Hwan to confront Sung Nyang about it (so that he'll know those were fake) but I also understand that he was afraid of hearing that maybe Sung Nyang still loves Wang Yu. What Sung Nyang and Ta Hwan lack about is communication. They don't talk about their feelings that much. However, the greatest proof that Sung Nyang loves Ta Hwan is when she discovered that Wang Yu was killed and she wanted to confront Ta Hwan about it but when she realized the reason why (w/c was Maha), instead of getting mad, she thought about how much it could've hurt Ta Hwan and how he endured it all alone.

The Emperor is immortal! The BEST drama ever. He is the one and only one with the best acting skills and his manly look.

This scene is the most heartbreaking to me, I barely can breath watching this. Tahwan was in pain for years reading the fake letters. Although he chose to believe in Seung Nyang, he had to face the torment for so long that lead him to doing that to her, the thing he has never force her to do even when she was his servant. When Tahwan fall asleep, Seung Nyang deeply looks at him and admits that her biggest fear is being abandoned by him. I totally collapsed.

I fell in love with Ji Chang Wook because this drama❤

I know ppl hated this scene bcz he forced himself on her but for some reason this is one of my favs scene in this drama..loved it

I think this scene is done very well because there was a subtle violent feeling but equally a sensitivity showing the various emotions of the emperor like Love, doubt, ego, frustration, having power yet weak emotionally etc. JCW has done it so well..he could bring out the true character (which is to be sensitive).. The direction of the scene was good too.. In this drama I feel the lady was too much responsible in handling state affairs and fell short in her personal life, finally losing the person who loved her the most.. Probably that is how life is you gain some, you lose some.

I love this drama its one of those I can't get over

드라마설정오류인게 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ승냥이자체가 무술도 잘하고 싸움잘하는캐릭터고 타환정도는 가볍게 이겼는데 이제와서 못이긴다고???

Im so much inlove with this drama series..its very beautiful and super inlove....she is very a strong woman thispice of what happen to her life but shes still stand with her own...I really like her in this drama series...even shes affraid but no one can notice about her feeling...shes very brave and genius...and very beautiful woman..

Just finsished the drama. My heart broke into 1000 pieces for real. It is hard for her to choose who to be with and who to love for real when she loves them both and they love her too. I know it may sound sick but I finished these 51 episodes in 2 days. My hours just went for watching this drama. I love this drama for real. Still the ending broke my heart so much. I want to know more what happened. Theh all sacrificed themselves for her. I am so sad still. But I will never forget this drama. Love it💘

ost 나비에게 진심 너무 좋아했는데.. 매일매일 들었음.. 들을 때마다 둘이 애틋했던 장면 떠올라서ㅠㅠ 배우가 부르는 노래 특히 ost는 그 분위기와 감정이 잘 전해져서 너무 좋음ㅠ

It iis heartbreaking when your love isn't reciprocated. The last scene in the last episode made me cry so hard. He only wanted to hear her say that she loves him.

This is the best Kdrama . The grand scale the super actors clothes ,sets all absolutely incredible . No kdrama even comes close .

Lol I watched all the drama's episodes when I was young (including moments like uhm...this). But I'm glad I did 'cause this became one of my favorite k-dramas. And the story's amazing as well. I get why other's don't like his attitude here but he became like that for a reason (palace schemes, traitors, war, love rival, etc.). The ending made me cry 😭 💕

She tried to reach out to him but he would send her away. After few rejections, it was her turn to show indifference. Drunk and tormented, he comes to her chamber, only to find her busy reading books and pretty much okay. He wants her to want him, but she shows her pride. Unable to contain his passion, he grabs her and tries to kiss her. She pushes him away, still keeping her pride above. He screams, "why can't you miss me? Why can't you come to my palace and beg for me? Love me! Want me! Tell me that you need me!!! If I leave you now, that will be the end of you. Always remember that." He pushes her down but she doesn't give up. What does he mean by that? Does he want to leave her for good? "So now you want me to act as a whore in a brothel?" She says. "If you wish to leave me, don't waste time. Leave me already." Distraught, he holds her. "I can't do that.... I can never leave you...." He pushes her down again, while she is still mad at him for treating her so. "For God's sake, stop fighting!!!!" Yah it is voilent. But they both wanted each other, and wanted to be wanted by each other. Their pride was being crushed, time and again, and yet they wanted to give in to desire. Abuse, physical or mental, both begin with a need. A need to feed your pride.... As long as you don't let it come your way, your love won't hurt. They have come a long way from cute lovers to midlife crisis. When I first saw this scene, in my head I could hear the last line from the movie Gone Girl. "What have we done to each other..."

ji chang wook is such a wonderful actor to look at he is not a pretty boy he is really a talent to behold I look at all his movies and damn he connects with all his actresses leads love this movie I wish it had a happy ending. Tal tal character was great also.

Wang Yu has been portrayed as a man of honor, a hero, almost perfect since the beginning til the end. He was surrounded by loyal friends and already have Nyang's heart. Meanwhile, Togon had no one from the start, even his eunuch turned out to be one of his enemies, then when Nyang began to love him, some shit started to poison his mind, filling it with doubts and insecurities for five years. He became schizophrenic, hallucinating to the point he looked crazy in front of his people. Then, he became this drunk, rapist husband who was on the verge of losing his mind. Goodness, the man couldn't get any break. It didn't stop then of course, because he had to learn that Nyang and Wang Yu had a child together. And to top it all, he had to be the murderer of beloved Wang Yu. And when he had the opportunity to live happily with his wife and son, he had to be poisoned and die. It seemed to me that the writer acknowledged Togon and Nyang's destiny, but couldn't really give the emperor more advantage than Wang Yu. He died, Togon had to die, too.

Waaah this video made me cry at 1:08 and 2:36 :'O Though I don't remember what they were talking about in this scene, but remembering the whole story, that is what made me so sensitive, and also Chang Wook who did so brilliant, excellent work in Empress Ki, being so different, even within this short scene! This makes me want to see the series again.
