Thank you for sharing your ideas! Appreciate your tip on placement of the hot foil die so we don't melt the plastic. Greetings from ND (formerly from WI) 😊
Your designs are beautiful, I love that they come with the dies. Thanks for the tip about using a rotary cutter. I’ve been using mine and it’s so much easier and more accurate! 😊
You know how much I love this new release! I've already designed NEXT year's holiday card which will feature the retro ornaments. I actually love it so much that I thought of scrapping this year's design but since I already have everything ready to go I thought I'd better stay with my original design for this year. Maybe next year I'll actually have my holiday cards finished before December! I loved both of your designs BTW.
Simon, when you want to use the string of ornaments, what if, instead of cutting your card stock first, leave it as wide as the glimmer, put down your die, foil, etc. and it shouldn’t harm the edges of your glimmer - just a thought
Tfs. Great ideas! I just saw your disclaimer about turning it so that it fits (with the first foiling you shared). So if I make 5x7 cards, is it going to fit sideways like that?
Can you run this through a sizzix machine after heating ? (not sure how thick or wide the hot base is) Basically is there a way to use the hot foil machine and not have the spellbinder machine to run it through after.
