What you're hearing are the original samples used to create
Hot head Bop from Donkey Kong Country 2 Diddy's Kong Quest, combined with the music instruction data from the game, plus mixing and mastering magic for a perfect recreation of what a studio recording would have sounded like.
Some instruments have had to remain as the original samples but enhanced due to the absence of the original uncompressed files.

I've listened to both sam millers original restored version and terra blues edited version on top of his restored version and i gotta say i like her version better plus the extra bubbles at 1:00 that sam millers version didn't have. ☺ Both different.

I am requesting the most simple, yet amazing track : Donkey Kong Country - Game Over screen That song was made out of nightmares when I was a kid, it was the ultimate representation of failure and I felt so dissapointed to have allowed my Kongs to face such defeat

I think he meant that the uploader doesn't make the restorations, and was calling you an idiot for not reading the description. While i don't agree with him for saying that, many people do think this person makes the tracks, but she's just reuploading someone else's work and no one seems to care.

Jibbity Jenkins then you find out that if you throw a kong at the right side of the "K" letter upwards theres a barrel that warps you to the end of the level

For me, this level was particularly difficult because I didn't know how the air ballons worked at first. I just jumped from them and used Dixie to fly almost the entire level and when she died I tried to reach for the next part of land with Diddy, while he was still jumping. Don't know how I managed to do that, honestly. But it is possible!

I stocked in this level for about year Until I found out that you just have to press the "right arrow "to make the balloon move forward lmfao. And after that it became the best game ever for me. The best game with the best soundtrack ever!!!!!

Como esse jogo conseguiu reunir tanta OST memorável assim, praticamente TODAS são únicas e inesquecíveis, já se passaram dezenas de anos e a gente num simples toque, consegue lembrar e associar rápido a quem pertence... Os games de hoje são fraquíssimos em questão de musicabilidade.

The tone sounds correct... I think its the instrument choice. The original sounds more bouncy and less muted.

I always thought the highlights of the track were its ambient sounds and percussion and not the bass. They're not terribly quiet here and sound pretty acceptable to me I think.

It's really interesting and amazing how different these versions sound compared to the actual music in the game (which is not a bad thing at all). Some parts of the tracks are simply amazing on the restored versions but other parts, at least to me, do sound better on the SNES versions but considering that i grew up with DKC2 and i played it dozens of times over the last two decades i'm pretty biased in my opinion. Keep up the amazing work :)

Not feeling the new harmonica (1:30) sample, the original voicing was more expressive to me, it originally sounded more buzzy and less harmonically "full" and trailed off with a long decay. In this it sounds a lot more like a harmonica keyboard preset.

Despites this great restoration, i do prefer the more sinister intens feeling off the GBA version,i don’t understand why both the snes & this version sounds more quieder,, at 0,45 while the GBA version {despites it’s infirior soundchip} just sounds more intense as if it clearly warn you.to watch out for the lava, the GBA version of it just blows my mind!!!

If it isn't too much to ask, do you plan on uploading all of these to MP3? Or just FLAC? Because I don't mind converting this to FLAC but I'd love to have these play in my car.
