Angie, I thought I'd take this opportunity to say that one of the (many) things I appreciate about your videos is that you show how makeup lasts during the day. That's invaluable. Thanks so much.
Hi Angie, I really appreciate the "fix" to correct the over application of eye makeup. That's a great tip, and makes me think I need more "Fix tips demo" video would be really helpful.
@@AngieHotandFlashycan you do a review on that viral Japanese foundation tir tir I see all over TikTok. A lot of people seem to love it. I am 52 years old and wondering how it really is on more mature skin
Angie and Risa are my absolute favorite makeup queens here on YT! They’re really helping me ease into my 50s with amazing product demos and makeup looks! 🎉
I’ve been wearing that cover girl tint since it came out and used up and repurchased. It’s so fresh and easy. I have dry skin The lightweight feel is incredible
Angie and Risa are also my faves, along with Jen. They are so good at this, and not just because I'm getting older. All three of them offer classic timeless advice that's useful for any age group! Thanks for another great video Angie!
Thank you so much for this video! I am 58 years old, and I have struggled to find a foundation that works with my skin. This foundation is it! Finally! I also love the eyeliners and the mascara. Thanks Angie! ❤
Love drug store hauls! I'm a girl on a tight budget so I'm drugstore all the way. The L'Oréal products are outstanding & I use Milani, Nyx, elf and Phycians Formula. This was super helpful. Thanks Angie!
What a beautiful makeup look. I have the same issue with my nose, but it’s because I have allergies & am constantly blowing my nose (it’s so annoying!:). Have you tried the new TirTir cushion foundation that Tati just did a video about? I bought some & tried it for the first time yesterday & absolutely love it! I would love to see your review of it. Thank you so much! 😊
I really like the Cover Girl essence---it has more coverage than the Chanel version and is so much less expensive. The Loreal true match serum concealer is also a fave--i use it every day as an eye primer and it works so well that i can just put on an eyeliner and look polished.
@@AngieHotandFlashy just set with powder and you should be good to go. I wear that same shade, N3, and it's perfect for me. I have dry mature skin and very red , oily eyelids. Regular eye primers don't work for me since they don't cover the redness. This really does and looks so natural. Highly recommend.
The Chanel Water Fresh Tint is my most repurchased Chanel product. I tried this complexion product and it is not a dupe for the Chanel. This IMO is more appropriate for those who have normal to oily skin. I am very dry and this felt like a silicone heavy base.
I love when you do this and we can see new products especially drug store and their price point. I love Flower beauty and feel it doesn’t get a lot of love. 🙏👏❤️
The nose! I actually use Bare Minerals multi tasking concealer in Summer Bisque for my nose and upper lip only! It’s the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t break up during the day and the coverage is perfect.
I have been using the cover girl foundation for months. I have dry skin and have no problem with shine when I wear it. I have gone to only using this product. I love it.
Angie: Always helpful, informative AND entertaining! Thank you for this. Future Video Q: I would love to know your thoughts on false eyelashes...whether they be the extensions you get at a salon or falsies you apply yourself. I notice how you never mess with falsies (which I don't either - primarily because they intimidate me). Just wanted to know your thoughts on the subject. Have a great weekend! 🥰
I do love your drugstore makeup buys. It definitely helps me determine what to look forward to when, at Target or wherever I go ❤ The foundation looks gorgeous on your porcelain skin 🥰 Makeup and skincare has really went up in price! Thank you, 💯🙏😇
Good Morning Angie! 😊❤ Looking beautiful in the Spring makeup..👌I really am curious about those eye shadow sticks. I need a super quick and easy eye look for summer! ☀️ Happy Friday and hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🥰
I LOVE this serum foundation. I did have the same sweaty looking issue. Now, I use 1 1/2 pump for my whole face, and use my fingers to blend in quick, wispy strokes. Also, I broke open the beads on my face. I buff in powder with a big fluffy brush. Game changer
Beautiful look. I found the Loreal true match concealer too dry for my 64 year undereyes but it works great as an eye primer. I love the Neutrogena radiant cream concealer. So hydrating and does not cake or crease. I do not use Physicians formula products because of the scent. Does the bronzer or the lip gloss have scent? Thank you.
Thanks, Angie. It's so nice you try these products so we don't have to. I've just recently (re)started trying makeup (quit when the kids were young); it's a lot to figure out. Lots of purchases, lots of misses, some hits - you know. Hubby says it looks like the makeup counter threw up in our bathroom! These type of vids help keep it to a minimum (or so I tell him).
Hi Angie. Love these fun vids…love the blush…I’m loving this look…I think your eyes look gorgeous with those colours…well wow, I absolutely love the finished look. Just amazing…thanks for a fun and informative vid Ang.sending you sunshine from Oz xxx🌞🥰🌏🦘
Got me! I grabbed Cool It and Mini Me from Colourpop and the Ambrosia shadowstick b/c I’m *still looking for the perfect taupe and honestly it looked beautiful on Angie.
Angie, I e been following you for several years now! I don’t usually comment, but decided to today! We are the same age with same texture skin and skin color. Almost all your choices work for me. I’ve also followed all the skin care except the devices and my skin is so much better after my younger years of tanning!! Thank you SO much for allllll your hard research work on EVERYTHING!! 🤩
Beautiful look Angie. I have the Cover Girl Essence Foundation and absolutely love it. I put it on with my fingers and have found it is the best way to not get streaks. I’ve used a sponge to push it in to the skin too. Love all the products you used today except the powder and lip products.
Great video! I have the cover girl foundation and use it occasionally; but it makes sense how you used it and added the concealer for the nose area. I will be tryin this tip. Also a big fan of your A506 brush. ❤
I find Angie's videos so relaxed and chatty with us, she's certainly my favourite makeup video artist so thank you! Angie my friend is on her way to NYC from Australia and we have been trying to find your current opinion on It Cosmetics if you mind?
I feel like I just chase sunscreens: beauty of Josean was all anyone could talk about so I bought it then everyone online started raving about Birch Lab so I got it now Haru Haru is the best … feels like I am chasing a red laser dot.
I know what you mean. At one point, I was doing that sort of thing. I decided that if what I had fully satisfied me, and I had no reason to change it, I don't buy the newest thing unless I want to do it for fun or as an experiment (which I'm more likely to do if it comes in a trial size). If I don't want to spend my fun money on it, I don't buy it.
Yeah and what really stinks about that is every time a sunscreen gets popular, Amazon, or stores, will jack the price way up. I remember when I first bought Beauty Of Joseon spf it was only like 9-11 bucks. Now it’s so much more expensive! In fact, I think all Asian sunscreens are increasing in price on Amazon since they became popular 🤬
Angie I apply the Essence foundation with my fingers an actually rub it in the same way I would skincare such as sunscreen etc. This method has worked great for me and applies it well over the entire face including the nose area. It looks so pretty and will definitely be my go to summer foundation 😊
I believe the CoverGirl foundation to be a dupe for Chanel Les Beiges! Great find! Perfect time, I just tried the Chanel in an Ulta (only a few carry Chanel cosmetics) and loved it but it's so expensive! Thank you Angie❤️
Loved the demo and the look. A bit too shiny a look for my wrinkles. I bet the NYX mineral powder would have made a diff. Love the NYX powder since you suggested it, better than the Laura Mercier I was paying bigger bucks for.
I enjoyed this video and was glad you see you found so many products you like. I am definitely going to try the mascara. I know this wasn't a skin care video, but I do have a skin care question. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on Volufiline. I have just started using it so I don't have any results yet, but the testimonials I have seen are pretty incredible.
Great video, Angie! I am trying a couple of the items you used. I haven't bought any makeup in quite a while, so this was fun for me to watch! Blessings
Great video as always Angie! Thanks! A curious request for a video, but if you have any tips on getting a good eyebrow shape for mature women who use tretinoin and can no longer get waxed, I’m very curious what women are doing? I’m trying to tweeze my own eyebrows but I don’t feel I’m getting a great shape. Just wondering what you do and if you have any tips! Your brows are perfect! Thanks!!
Hi, Angie, I think you looked beautiful but I did notice the shine you talked about. I thought the close up of your under eyes looked so smooth & pretty & your eyes looked great! It’s always great to watch your videos! Have a great weekend! Hugs! ❤️
Hi I know the glowy look is in and no offense to anyone who likes that look, but I would love to see a good drugstore foundation that is just matte. No shine, no greasy look. A powder that actually makes your skin look more airbrushed. No glowy blush. Thanks for your consideration.
I don't like the super glowing all over either. It makes me feel greasy just seeing it. I could never do, because my reading glasses would never stay on my nose. I already struggle with that all day at the computer.
Makeup Forever has a really nice banana colored compact that I love. Use it with a brush and makes my face look flawless. I'm with you, no greasy look.
Would you consider doing a video on the best temporary but long lasting "instant" face/eye creams that are out? I've tried them back in the day when they first came out and I loved them. But now everyone seems to be releasing them like IT Cosemetics, Peter Thomas Roth etc and would honestly enjoy a comparison and tested video version done by you (cuz your the best tbf). The ones out now claim to last all day, some can even be used on the whole face. Some have danger warnings on using it anywhere but the eye, and IT's say it must be removed before bed. But I'm most interested in how they perform. At 54 (almost 55) and re-entering the world of makeup I want to add one to my routine. PTR's claim benefits the more you use it + the instant lift. So what do you think Angie? Would you consider testing these instant temporary lift viral products? ❤🎉
Good morning, Angie. Love the way the bronzer goes on. Very pretty on you. I picked up the new bronzer by NYX, and it's way too pigmented, and doesn't go on easily. A bit chalky. Blush and highlighter are beautiful. The color of the matte Ulta cream shadow is definitely something that I'd wear. I love the About Face foundation. I need to try more of their products. The foundation looks great in direct sunlight. I'm definitely grabbing the eyeshadows and blush. The mascara looks great as well, after an all day wear. I'm happy that you like the mascara, because I've never found one from essence that I liked! Thanks so much, Angie. Enjoy your weekend. Hopefully, the sun will come out!❤😎🌞
It's one of my favorite foundations! I will warn you that it's not a pump bottle, unfortunately, but a doe foot applicator! That's the only issue I have with it. @@AngieHotandFlashy
Hi Angie! I have that same sweater in Rose red, It is my favorite sweater, it's so. comfortable and I get so many compliments,I want all of the colors!
Love your channel! Have you done any tests on makeup remover? I can’t find anything that removes mascara without scrubbing. Also, I would like to see how and how many time to exfoliate the face. Thanks for providing such honest and useful information.
She has really great AM and PM skincare videos that include all products she uses, how often, etc. She updates them for summer vs. winter. Also I know she uses Clinique Take the Day Off as a makeup remover, it’s one of her recommendations that hasn’t changed over the years, she raves about it
I use the CoverGirl ageless skin perfector essence over the Haru Haru sunscreen daily and love it to even put my skin. I just use my fingers to apply it and don't have any problems with how the product lays.
