GREAT drone channel- thanks Steve - from what I can find for sale now, the SG906 MAX Pro 3 GPS 5G WIFI FPV 4K HD 3-Axis Obstacle Avoidance RC Drone RTF has everyting for around $300 including collision avoidance forward, 4k, GPS and 3 axis . At least the best options for the $$ I can find I am definately going to buy some kind of ROV video submarine for my time in Florida too like the yellow one you demonstrated, but in FL the water is crystal clear
For a total beginner I’d recommend the very forgiving PAVO 25 that I recently reviewed. The Evoque & Cinelog35 are a bit of a handful for a total beginner.
...Class !!! but for now I opened the door to this topic, tell me, direct me ... I want such a Flywoo CineRace20 Pro, but I can’t find the information about what kind of helmet, what kind of equipment. They say read more information, but I'm not a fan of reading instructions. Help!
Hi👋 , in first i would like to thanks you a lot for all your vid’s et your review!!!i love it🥰 In second i want to know more from your appreciation from this version performance of this cinelog35. Okay it’s much faster than the old version but my biggest interrogations is th fly time🤔if they got more powerfull motor, they obligately more consumption?!? Have you tested yet with a GoPro full size on it and compare above the original version of cinelog35?!? Thanks for all your response and have a nice day 👋
Yes, I flew it with a GoPro hero 10 and you do get more flight time than the previous version. With the GoPro hero 10 it seems to be more designed for flying at a constant speed going through objects without start/stopping.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 and how many gain you can estimate?!?what time of flying yoûve got this the old and the performance with approximately the same type of flight with gopro 10?!?and with the same lipo?!?you run with 1300/1500mah?!? Thanks a lot for your reponse and your reactivity 🙏
I would like to buy a cinelog 35hd and your réponse determined my chose for if they buy the old or the performance version 😉my only specifications i want is the fly time because for this type of machine i think the speed wasn’t an essential characteristic…if they want speed for filming i can use my 5inch setup for more reactivity and speed😉
The Goggles V2 do not require a remote when you fly in the FPV Hobby so you can use any radio you want at the same time that you use the DJI Goggles V2.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 so if want to use this controller simple bind it and fly? Without any problem? I understand this radio controller function to long range !
@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you! I'm a beginner and unsure of which system / goggles I wanna go for ..so was thinking just get the analog version for now and later on switch to digital
You can only bind to the dji fpv with the controller unless your talking about the older black controller, then you can bind to air unit or caddx vista 😎🤙
I was just about to place an order for the original CineLog35 after weeks of trying to figure out which is for me... then this comes out! Who would you say the original CineLog35 is for and who is the CineLog35 Performance for?
The original is VERY good. This performance model gives longer flight times and a bit more accuracy in flight. If anyone owns the original, they do not need to upgrade unless they want a bit more flight time and ELRS range.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 it’s interesting that you say the Performance model gives longer flight time because on GEPRC’s own website, it says that the original CineLog35 gives longer flight time. Are you sure you got that right, or did GEPRC make a mistake on their listing for this drone?
@@likebliss yup, I never had any luck with long flight times with the original (my original is 4s and I reviewed it in cold weather). Myself and my friends felt the PERFORMACE model flew much longer using similar battery size (however note that this is a 6s version). So just reporting our observations.
I used that same DJI Magnetic mount with my Action2 ... but mine broke loose and now I lost it. So I'll stick with my TPU mounts! Thanks for the video ¶ ; - )
@@Marcus2750-u1t 😞 it happened! I'm in discussion with DJI now, but they are more focused on 'how to avoid taking responsibility' then taking responsibility and cover my lost!
@@Sir_Hubris well Im sorry to hear that man I really am….. I use mine same way and never has ever come loose…… heck Ive even crashed a couple times and it stayed on despite other broken parts….. I hope you get it covered and fly on!
@@Marcus2750-u1t I can say that after I received and kept useing this ‘DJI Action 2 Magnetic Protective Case’ ... things went wrong ... maybe that's the problem? Before it was solid as a rock!
So my Tinygo came with the Tinyradio and I'm not sure the flight modes are set up the way they're supposed to be, not to mention none of the TinyGo vids I've seen day anything about it having ELRS.
Like the idea of to be able to put fulll GoPro10 on it... but the preformance wise - is it still nible with it or ill better stuck with my beloved cinelog30 with naked go pros?
Hi captain, I recently bought cinelog 35 performance drone Elrs version and geprc 6s 1550 mah lipo batteries. Without a gopro and with just cruising, I’m getting an average flight time of 2:30 minutes. There has been no improvement in flying duration despite my thorough examination of every potential issue, including charging the batteries properly and landing the quad at 3.7 volts. To test the performance, I also bought alternative batteries, but nothing changed. Please help me out 😢
Another great video! I get up to 9 minutes on the hglrc sector d5, 1400 mah battery. I'm normally at 50 to 60 percent throttle with punches here and there. I imagine it will drop to 7 or less once I start carrying a cam
I’ve ordered both Steve, I know nothing about ELRS apart from it is supposed to be better than TBS, I have only just got into crossfire as I’m still a newbie. What is the difference between 2.4 and 916 I think it is. I ordered 2.4 and got the radio also as I don’t want to keep changing modules in my jumper every time I want to fly ELRS instead of crossfire or frsky. At the low price of the radio it makes sense. Thanks for sharing bud.
HD means digital. I use both sets of DJI goggles with the many FPV drones I review. Please research how to switch DJI goggles into the RC FPV hobby mode because they come default to only work with the DJI FPV drone.
Hi can someone please explain the google options I can use for this? I have a couple of drones but am new to FPV? I know this is a basic question but appreciate the help. Thanks in advance
All depends on the RECEIVER you are binding to. The T-LITE V2 can bind to specific receivers, so you just have to be certained to order the drone with a compatible receiver in it.
There are a lot of li-ion packs that have more mah but they are usually rated for 35amps total. I wonder if you could get away with using one of those if you just cruised around without punching it.
Been waiting for this! I ordered mine a bit ago, waiting for it to ship. Thanks for showing what this can do, makes me even happier with my decision to purchase.
This is a awesome video your flying skills made a great video and review. When you reviewed the 25 not buying it immediately about to drive me insane. I finally got the strength to resist. Then here came the 30 review I didn’t care for it like the 25 and I noticed all the demand for a 35. I always wait on your review to purchase any of them but it was very hard to resist placing that order. 2 minutes into this video I had to pause it and place my order and for the price I had to get the radio. Very happy I waited. Thanks Captain
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I recently purchased the pavo 25 as you recommended, I feel confident on my flights now, so I don't know if I should go for the cinelog35 or should I stay with the cinebot
Well done Captain ! these reviews are definitely "teasers" for non FPV flyers (like myself!!) I will get through testing my first "Helicopter" before venturing down this track !!!!!🙂🙂🙂
I have been flying DJI'S for a few years now and would like to go down the FPV route. You sir have a lot of knowledge and experience and I am happy I found you. If you could point an elderly gent in the right direction on what to buy to fulfill his FPV dream. Headset, controller, and possibly this drone?🙏
why geprc is not supporting their own hardware? i have a GR-8 from my tinygo 4k FPV Set, but they dont offer a compatible cinelog 25, 30 or 35 version for that transmitter with special fhss-receiver...
Ordered the ELRS HD version as well 5+ weeks ago. Hoping that since review units have shipped, the rest will start going out. Awesome to see your review and impressions Steve!
Yikes the price!! I think I am waiting for the Avanta. Probably spend 2 times as much, but you know you are getting something pretty amazing plus Care Refresh. I have the regular 35 and it flies great with a Naked cam like the SMO or a GoPro Bones. Hero 10 is pretty heavy. Action 2 with the magnetic protective case and that mount you are using is like 90 Grams. Get a TPU mount and get rid of the case and you can get it closer to 60 grams.
Dear captain, I'm new in the fpv world, I, ve been flying dji mavic pro 2, and now I want to get in the fpv, I like this drone, but can u help me get all the Acessories needed to fly it, like links to batteries and a battery charger, the receiver I should choose and the cam I need to buy, along with the goggles. Thank u for ur help
It is a very good FPV Drone, but flying FPV takes skill of flying and knowledge of components. If you do enough research to educate yourself on everything then you could certainly learn on this FPV drone. Watch my video series CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS to get an idea of what you need to know.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I have been doing a research on all the FPV world for 6 months. I have 44 hours of flight on velocidrone and seems that I have good skills since I manage to be in a good ranking on my favorite tracks. I have seen most of your videos including the series of fpv for starters. I did the wrong decisions of purchasing the dji fpv drone and I flew it just 8 times in sport mode (never acro). I decide to re sale it because I saw that going into acro will means that inevitably I will crash it and I'm not willing to pay a fixing job at dji every time. So I have purchase the tango 2 pro v4 to keep practicing on the simulator. I haven't decide whitch drone to buy next, I'm thinking of the nazgul5 evoke or the cinelog35 (I know they are totally different drones) but I think at the and I have intention of buying one racing drone, one mini, one cinematic and one 7 in. I just love this new world
I bought the tinygo and it came with the tinyradio 915m ELRS. do you know roughly how far it'll transmit? i do need to invest in some decent goggles still through.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 wow, that's quite impressive compared to what iv flown in the past. would one of the ELRS pack antennas fit? those "diamond" and other shaped ones? would that improve the range further?
If you fly using plenty of rudder, then you will have a start in learning to fly an FPV Drone. The big difference is that RC Planes react rather slow compared to a drone so you have plenty of time to compensate. FPV Drones require tiny sick movements and everything is instant.
Hello sir being from northern Ontario I enjoy your Canadian perspective. I’ve been flying a Parrot Anafi for a year now, a lot of the time in FVP mode ( poor man’s FVP lol) Looking at the Avata but wondering if this drone would be a better investment.. do you know if the “tiny controller “ can sink to a computer simulator so over our long winter I can master ( get better) at manual mode. I’m 60 years old and love to go fast my wife believes FVP drones (instead of MC / snowmobiles) would give me less time in hospital 😂 any advice would be appreciated
Hi Kevin, we are about the same age. I don't believe the DJI AVATA controller works with flight sims, but it does work with the DJI Flight sim which I have shown in my review of the original DJI FPV drone.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 hello again sorry I was meaning going with the tiny control and the GEPRC cinewhoop 35 instead of the Avata… does the GEP tiny Rc work with any kind of simulation?
Hey captain Steve I ended up buying this and I'm just waiting for it to be delivered! I'm so excited I hope it performs just like your video! You've helped me on 4 fpv quad decisions! Thank you for being such a positive influence in our community xo forever!!!!!
@@jianliu9420 Yes you can use LI-ION batteries. Flight time will increase but performance will decrease which is why LI-ION are only used for long range drones flying in pretty much a straight line
Awesome video captain, I have a question I have the quad but I use DJI fpv unit and controlller mode 2 , at a short distance I loose signal, what do you think about this?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I think this is the problem, the antenna still in good condition it’s literally brand new drone 2 fly so I think the quad come with this problem.
@@joanm_86 Range is always based on the antenna on the drone and the antenna on the remote control and antenna on your goggles, and final the video output power setting.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yes it’s is, I use the antenna come with the DJI v2 goggle and the DJI radio controller mode 2, with this cinelog 35 performance caddx vista, so the quad it’s fine the camera it’s fine only the signal lost in a short rage basically with no obstacles
