27th Feb 2013. Hot rivetting of frame plates to build the new tender for 34072 257 Squadron. Featuring Willie, Bob and two of Adam Dalgleish's team, Liam and Jimmy, who made the job look a lot simpler than it really is.
You fellows make the job look easy. Obviously the two team members are experts at hot riveting and are familiar with each other. Great job, great video.
@@blackcloverfan541 Thinking about it, it would probably stop a lot of frame warpage due to welding. Just wonder when 3d printing/metal sintering comes more mainstream if we will see printed hulls with hexagonal fill for a lighter/stronger aircraft.
@@KarasCyborg i think rivets will never be replaced in aircrafts, easy to install/remove, cost efficient time efficient til super advanced composites will be developed to cost efficient. Yep composites.
