Just watched this film today in which I stumbled across. What a brilliant funny movie. We need more like this funny all the way through and no sad ending.
This movie kills me every time ! also the sound track rocks too ! Neioghbors wonder if i am ok sometimes as i cough my lungs up so loud from laughing so hard.
they were going to try to get rights to every song on "the final countdown" album, then just re release the album as the soundtrack...(didn't happen) but it would have been hilarious if they pulled it off..
@michaelquinn7710 ummm he pretty much is, dude wanted to be a pop star , makes several albums , writes his own stuff, can act and knows how to be hilarious without crossing lines
I only got into watching this, cause one of my favourite Canadian actresses made a cameo appearance in that movie. She was talking to Bill Hader in that movie theatre scene.
Seriously how did this get 39% on rotten tomatoes ... does anyone know what funny is anymore? This is legitimately one of the funniest movies this century. It makes you laugh out loud so many times. They don't make them like this anymore which is sad (there aren't enough talented people who are actually funny and can act anymore) hence we get stupid shock humor and disgusting scenarios that aren't actually funny but people laugh becUse they are uncomfortable. If you don't think this movie is funny you don't have a good sense of humor. Even the little things like the dancing I'm the parking lot, the "I like to party" , this movie is filled with laughs start to finish
i saw it several times when i was 12 maybe, it was the most funny thing i have ever seen, i was laughing to death, after 9 years i tried to go back to the innocent childhood and watch it again, its still funny but much less than before, i think i have watched it a lot.

I thought this movie was alright as a kid when it first came out in 2007, but since then I’ve heard nothing but negativity. It’s supposed to be a bad movie. But, I recently watched this movie again, and…it’s still pretty good! I mean, it’s not amazing, it’s just pretty good; just a fun, light-hearted comedy. I don’t understand what’s so bad about it.
I don't recall seeing the trailer of Hot Rod in the opening previews of Transformers on DVD for some reason. But still this movie is definitely cool, funny and awesome to watch.
