From 1997 Featuring Joe Elmore and Chuck Hanson, As they build a 383 small block chevrolet. I do not own the rights to this program or any other tnn/spike tv program.
As a gear head teen in the 90's, this show was gold. Chuck and Joe made it look easy and were the standard bearer for all shows like this that came after. Miss these dudes.
RIP Joe. 1997 was a great year for me. I would watch your show then go turn wrenches on my 82 T/A. when I was done with her she was a monster. Thank you.
Oh man, the good ol day's of TNN right before it changed over to Spike TV. I remember growing up as a kid watching these shows Saturday and Sunday mornings and early afternoons. Hot Rod TV (Horsepower TV), Trucks!, Car and Driver Television, Motor Trend Television, and NASCAR races. It was a pinnacle of my childhood memories.
I remember watching this Sunday mornings on TNN, then Spike TV. And that Desktop Dyno was what everyone on every internet car chat board would use in building their engines. Lol
ahh the good old days... i used to tape Shadetree Mechanic on vhs. that's pretty much where i learned how to do brakes. still learning something new these days. Garage Squad is the best (stop by my place damn it)!
These became more and more just long infomercials. If ya think I'm wrong then use a stop watch and prove it to yourself. It's sad when a 1 hour show is 17 minutes of show and 43 minutes of ads.
