Cheers been into them since seeing them in magazines as a kid in eighties. Then 10 years ago watching on RU-vid. I never realised until this video that the reason the bodies are styled like they are is to keep weight down. Before the internet I had never seen them race but my bedroom walls were covered in posters of them . Thanks so much.
i guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Christian Otto i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I love rats but I'm more of a FACTORY rat guy. As most of the hotrod cars are becoming more scarce in their original form. Gotta preserve the gems as well as having fun.😁
video is great... major suggestion, lose the commentary and music... leave it all ORIGINAL AUDIO... your audio add-on fucks it all up... i love the sound of straight piped diesels... however, this upload doesn't meet the "soundporn" criteria.... MUSIC and PURE MOTOR SOUNDS.... DO not go well together, watched it halfway in... couldn't stand hearing the commentary AND the music OVER THE MOTORS SCREAMING IN THE VIDEOS!
Drive faster.... the rain can't catch up. Seriously, most of these cars aren't driven in the rain. Kinda like a motorcycle. Only the brave drive in weather.
you should switch brands. Instead of smoking up the tires, someone should make some fake "spinners" and put tubes next to the wheels, blowing out smoke, ...and sparks?
"Most of them are only driven occasionally or not at all." Oh yeah? One day I'll turn an old volvo or an another car into a shoestring hot rod you can drive daily, just you wait and see, my friend.
I guess that's why I like the "future shock" aesthetic most. basically take a hot rod but replace the mad max rustic aesthetic with slim paint jobs and all the modern insides and stuff. Basically get the perfect fusion of the creativity and awesome imagination you get with hot rod shapes and sizes... But with the modern benefits and comforts and safety of modern vehicles. That's what I hope to make someday... If I ever get around to it heheh.
Agreed!!! Cars great, middle class talker not so great unless you drive some sort of Chinese built car , live under a rock for the last 20 year's or on death row with no knowledge of the outside world. ☠☠☠
The guy narrating the video is just someone with a good voice that can read well, he's probably never even seen the video or cares anything about what's in it, he just gets paid to read.
Same goes for bikes at bike rallies. You see some cubicle sitter pull up with a trailer, unload his customized Harley and then put on his vest with a thousand patches. Then you see some old guy sporting a 10 inch long white beard, rolling up on his slightly raked Knucklehead. The oil all over his jeans and bugs on his helmet says he rode his all the way there!
Cool! So I just need to pass a crash test certification in Sweden in order to obtain the permit from the government to use my customized vehicle. But my only question is: Should I hit the wall with my forehead or with my but?
there should be rules for rat rods like you cant have a crew to do all the work.for you to make one and it should use old vehicles and you cant spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to make one
I realize I'm late to this party but what the fuck? The cars and trucks were all badass. But the dude talking doesn't know shit about the hot rod world. I can't begin to correct ALL the wrong things that were said. But I'll give a hint, MOST custom cars are driven quit a bit. Many of us "daily" our cars when the weather's decent. The number of guys that hardly drive them is extremely low. I'll agree with another commenter, great video, get rid of the commentary. You don't know what you're talking about.
Cant you rich Americans just be happy that your car looks cool without saying its for speed? Or performance? And who cares if its spins its back wheels, grow up.
