It's just a soft, broad, plastic bristle brush. I used to have really long hair and did a lot of victory rolls. You can do a really simple "fake" victory do I might put up. Do you do victory rolls?

Wonderful video - can't wait to use a rat tail comb to "tuck under" the ends. I was trying to keep count of how many curlers you used, as well as which sizes were where - could you tell what size rollers you used in the back?

All small and medium in the front and medium for bottom two rows at the back. Only use the big ones to create body through the crown of the head. Small and medium rollers create your waves and curls. x

It depends how curly. Sometimes curly hair holds better. Maybe do a test run first. And if it doesn't work perhaps try straightening your hair and then putting the curlers in.

How long does your set stay in for with the hot rollers? I'm wanting to teach my hair to stay in set for a whole week but I'm not sure that's possible. Advice appreciated! X

Hannah Sutton ive never made it longer than 3 days but I'm an agitated sleeper and I hate leaving my hair longer than even 2 days for washing as I have oily skin. It was done in the 50s and 60s so it's definitely possible. I'd definitely get some strong hold hairspray and an awesome setting lotion and invest in some flat pin curl clips and hair nets for sleeping. Pin the curls at night to maintain your style (not a reset but just to maintain the shape of the curl around the face and ends of hair). Good luck!
