sugarwasabi swag 👍👍👍 I know right? Shes maknae but look her now she was always guested at different show meaning they like her on TV coz many fans like her too
Hwasa have so unique voice. She needs collaboration with American artists. It would strengthen the whole team. She is the youngest member of the group. She has the best chance to make a career in America and Europe right now. RBW company don't waste this talent!
i dont think any kpop artist that doesnt even know english should aspire to become big in the US. There's no point in wasting the time and money needed for that and then still flop - like almost every other korean artist has done.
Hwasa have the best voice on her group, she is the most diverse and her voice is like a treasure, there is threshold for vocal technique and all members of Mamamoo pass that threshold (with very slightly different strengths and weaknesses) I bet Hwasa is the member who would impress artists the most, plus have you seen her sing jazz?? I tell you Hwasa is a legend in the making
does hwasa really have the best voice though? She has the most unique voice of the vocalists (moonbyul has the most unique one due to having a really coarse and husky voice), absolutely...but in terms of vocal technique and skills to reach higher tones I think that Solar is the best one. That's also why she is the main vocalist of the group. I do however think that hwasa has the best jazz voice. I'd say that solar is the one for ballads and stronger songs, while wheein has the best pop voice. Hwasa on the other hand excels at jazz

For anyone who comes here with misguided claims of cultural appropriation: King of Dancehall, Beenie Man wrote and recorded this song with Skull and Haha (RPR). RPR have also played with and collaborated with plenty Jamaican acts, including the great Stephen Marley. Appropriation is a mockery and disrespect. This performance and the RPR crew are not mocking nor disrespecting anybody.
+Melanie Lyrics Maybe you shouldn't start assuming the worst as soon as you see something, especially when there's nothing visibly wrong like with this performance.
"MooMoo must be happy because they’re with a true singer!" this is only one of the compliments Haha had for Hwasa and Mamamoo...I'm so proud to be fan of a group who gets a lot of love from seniors! Hwasa on that stage proved once again that she's an Empress
Hwasa can literally do anything! She is beyond talented and can do any genre and make all performances exceed expectations. So glad to stan this queen!
Yo I'm shook!! I'm a Jamaican and seeing "Gyal dem a whine" I couldn't believe my eyes!! I love this sooo much! Great job and performance by the artists and producers!!!
TheLucyscarlet is it a bad thing to say?? coz I saw a few complaint about it n im confused coz it was co produced with beenie man so wouldnt it be okey
what a party! loved this collab - skull and haha did such a great job and they have great chemistry with hwasa! ♥ so proud of moomoo for cheering so loudly
Haha's love for reggae can be seen since the start of runningman and I know that he really loves it and the fact that he was able to sing this song that also shows his love for the genre as a whole was not a mockery at all to him that could be said as accomplishing one of his life dreams and I am so happy for him. Dang diggi diggi dang out!
Being a Jamaican that loves kpop and mamamoo I'm really happy at this moment. PS y do ppl think because ur from a particular country ur to stick to just what they produce. If that was the case k pop wouldn't be where It is right now with massive world love and support. And further more dancehall has major influence on the hip hop u all love so much and who doesn't know of reggae, dancehall or jamaica. So stop tripping over something that is not ur norm because u don't understand. They did well.
Karon Stephanie Jamaican's I find are more accepting of others incorporating their culture into their work. It leads me to believe that those claiming cultural appropriation are most likely not Jamaican. I think Kpop artists respect reggae as well in a way that some artists don't.
I think in a lot of situations cultural appropriation is taken waayy too far. We live in a world where a lot of people immigrate to different countries and this results in a mix of different cultures, why would people be offended by that... + Music has always been something to bring people together, just like people mixing different genres into a new one. It's the same with food, in my country there are so many restaurants from different origin, but no one will complain when I walk into a Marrocan restaurant, or when I go eat sushi and use chopsticks. So I don't get people complaining about them using reagga, no one complains about hiphop tho. Same with people complaining about hairstyles. And in a lot of cases it's always the people who are not from that culture who are complaining about it
GUUYYSSSS that overflowing energy when hwasa came out is no joke!!!!! can you feel that??! i can't imagine if i were there witnessing this live i prolly fainted bcos of over excitement lol
James Mah yeap thats right next colab. Will be SImON D or Jaypark hahaha gray?hahah locooooooo enjoy and take care to your enlistment for the army 2yrs loco what if when you discharge SiMonD dating hwasa?hHHha
See.prople just out e to complain. Are they even aware that Skull and Haha wrote this with Beenie Man. That they have travel to Jamaica and been deep in the reggae scene. The land of my birth have seen a lot of people coming in to learn about reggae music from the greats. We even had a Japanese will the dancehall queen competition
Let the haters hate. They think their negative opinion matters but guess what? The fandom and even Koreans could care less about what international comments says. (Not saying all ifans are bad, just the one who bashes on other idols without a good reason thinking their negative opinions matter) They’re enjoying this RPR performance and they also respect Ahn Hyejin alot. Popularity begets hate like how Ariana Grande is getting a lot now
I love the fact that Skull and Haha are pioneers or Reggae in Korea and they truly respect its artistry and culture of origin. And the fact that they worked with Beenie man on this song is just the icing on top of this sweet sweet cake...plus Hwasa’s voice and vibe is everything! Oh and let’s not forget the ever lit and supportive moomoos!
she did save it in my opinion, I watched them performing this song before and it was boring, the contrast of her voice with their voice saved the performance plus this is their best stage...
