Lloyd Bridges and Leslie Nielsen had two careers each. They both started out as serious actors and finished up as absolutely hilarious comedic actors. God bless them and may they rest easy knowing how much laughter they have left behind as their legacy.

@@TheMrPeteChannel I think from comedy standpoint he was primarily a supporting actor. He was in the first airplane he was in Hot shots and a few others that revived his career to a degree.

The dentist gag is a spoof of a terrifying scene from the thriller Marathon Man starring Dustin Hoffman. You gotta watch Hot Shots Part Deux. Lloyd Bridges is just as good. He gets upgraded to the President.

I've been using the crab line since my dad introduced me to this movie about 15 years ago. "There were 2 crabs, they work in pairs. I went to Annapolis for Christ's sake". Lmfao. My dad, and grandpa, went to Annapolis lol.

I’ve pulled a “drinks on me” in a bar before. The bar had a gambling machine ( blackjack/slots) and I hit the jackpot so I bought the bar a round. Then I hit a second jackpot on a different game. It’s the craziest day I ever had to this day and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever top it.

The first time I ever saw this film, the Humphrey Bogart gag just about killed me for some reason. Hopefully one day you guys can get around to the sequel. Jerry Haleva as Saddam is really freakin' funny.
