Me too and Everybodys Golf on PS4 was probably the biggest letdown ever for me as far as gaming goes. They removed all the things that made Hot Shots Golf so fun and added a ton of stuff that nobody cares about, such as golf cart races, fishing, and running around looking for gems
I'm very curious to see the next installment in Hot Shots golf series for PS4 that is going to be a hybrid between golf and life simulation with activities. I expect mini-games and such. Clap Hanz does always a good job.
HST had some mild extra activities and dialogues to create the resemblance of a story and such. It would be fun to bring that to HSG, which is a more popular series.
@@StefanConstantinDumitrache Probably on PS5 they will add that now they have assets ready for open world design they made on PS4 that took Clap Hanz some time with 200 people.
I got Everybody's Golf instead of Hot Shots. There aren't any characters from other PlayStation games, so I made a custom character that looks like Calypso from Twisted Metal. You can see him on my channel
what i hate about this game are the turtles/bunnies on impact, most of the time ill hit a tad late, a tiny green circle shows, usually the ball will go either a few yards off mark but sometimes, the ball will slice completely to the right or left, even though i havent hit it that late, then the ball just happens to either end out of bounds or unplayable
The game just doesn't play by it's own rules, you'll sit there, judge the wind, elevation, spend your time meticulously setting up your shot and then hit a shot perfectly and bam, cracks off a tree that wasn't even remotely in your aiming path or it'll veer hard left or right or just not go nearly far enough or way way way freakin overkill despite a perfect impact, or your spins or anything. It's a game that spent it's resources on stupid little extras like character cosumes and customizations and other dumb shit when golf is supposed to be a precision game. Don't make a fucking golf game and not give players the tools they need to play a precision game. Some would say buy a pga game, but if you're gonna make a golf game, don't make it a fake wannabe fucking arcade game, this game is broken as fuck and useless.
Joshua Jones also i hate how i hit the ball early like bunny early, but as i hit, i can literally see the circle get bigger as if i would have hit even earlier than in reality, most of these things happen online and to me its simply because the computer or game cant have everyone finishing at -11,-12 on a 9 hole, sometimes i feel an unseen handicap is set up, as if we playing with an invisible slots system
+BloodyandEnchained agreed 👍 man. It does seem to almost deliberately screw you when you see with your own eyes and feel with your button press that your shot was perfectly timed. It has a terrible latency between your input and what you see on the screen. It just fails miserably at being a golf game. Why any company thinks making a golf game in the form of a an arcade-y little children kiddy game and then making it wired to completely fuck over your best shots at every opportunity is an insulting and annoying mystery to me.
+BloodyandEnchained Use novice characters, use clubs and balls that enhance impact. "Beginner's Balls, Beginner's Clubs, and the "Auto-Club". Best advice: play the percentages, this game is a lot of luck and math.
+Joshua Jones Not really, if that were the case there wouldn't be any disparity between good players and bad players in this game. I'm not saying I don't sit there shaking my head sometimes playing this game, but there's definitely a formula. And while it IS inconsistent, (my biggest gripe) there is a very definite method to the madness within it.
