While running hot in game 2 against Coffers was kind of lucky, they can't really complain about game 3. Anyone watching this channel knows that you are constantly calling out the things that kill you or that you need to play around, and that's exactly what game 3 was all about. The plan was constantly being brewed and modified as information changed. Masterful work.
I guess I just want to hear the salt. You could barely tell from Bosh's recounting, and tone is really hard over a primitive chat client. Add in the fact that probably both players were salty about the MTGO crash, and it is not surprising at least.
@@tylergoerlich9494 2 triomes that have lutri colors, a mana confluence, and a sylvan caryatid. The deck is more of a 'how thinly can I stretch the already mediocre playability of g/b/x midrange shells in pioneer'
"SlingDog LizardBird" reminds me of the time a buddy couldn't remember the name of Derevi, Empyreal Tactician and instead called it "Bird Green Bant Girl"
The guy getting so mad over his big control deck getting beat by a scrappy tempo deck. That's just perfect magic and required tactics to beat. Bosh just out played
I'm loving this . Modern players are so salty thinking bosh is just lucky when in reality hes just insanely good at this card game calling out every play to a T before it even happens
Ah yes, "gg :)", the option select for when you're not sure if your opponent is genuinely angry or not: if they aren't they'll take it as friendly, and if they are they'll probably take it as sarcastic.
You put powerful cards in your deck to draw them. Sometimes you draw them. When you play Lutri, you put 35-40 powerful cards in your deck to draw them. Sometimes you draw them.
As a big Kess Tridebinder Control afficionado hearing Bosh call Kess an unreasonable card hurts really bad, even though i know he's correct. Also no K Command hurts my soul aswell
16:50 If unholy heat is for Sheoldred, can we pitch it to Fable and get a fresh look since we have arcanist in play? Op is at 11 we pitch both cards, Attack in for 3 + bolt to 5. Sheoldred dies to Arcanist next turn and we have buy lutri and multiple looks for Flame, Tidebinder, Drown to answer Karn for Ensnaring bridge?
singleton makes people salty, TIL. For some reason, Commander or Highlander feels like it has less of this problem, possibly because people understand that there's more than one card that does the same thing, as long as they thing you're asking for isn't "interacts brokenly with X card"
@ 14:50 I thought unborn, tomb of yawgmoth would still grant everything the type of swamp? Or would it only make basics swamps with blood moon in play?
Both urborg and moon effect apply in the same layer, usually in those cases you go in time stamp order (the last one to enter play is the one in effect) like with moon and dryad of the Elysian grove, but in this case there is dependency (blood moon makes urborg not have the effect in the first place so moon always prevales)
That first opponent, you didnt counter profane. Generally, profane tutor in coffers fetches a land, not a spell. Theres times it fetches a spell, but usually its a land. Cant counter a land.
Truly when you play lutri you are *always* “lucky” because any combination of cards you draw is inherently lower probability than a normal deck Interesting psychological tech being singleton, keeps em guessing and overconfident at same time
@41:06 I think you're fine here, aren't you? They've used up their free Hammer equip, so your 1 damage is enough to pick off the Inkmoth Nexus? ... I'm sure I must be missing something and the comments can tell me that I'm an idiot :D
BoshNRoll's title for this video sounds like either an AI generated clickbait ad based on my RU-vid search history, or the Professor trying, as always, to get us to buy singles instead of packs. Either way I love it!
