Reminder for those unfamiliar with how Kuro designs their characters' kits. If you see an ult-like animation, it's probably the ult OR the core passive (forte) activation animation. They basically animate 2 ult-like animations for all their recent characters.

For HSR, I prefer the livestreams. For WuWa, I definitely prefer this format. Good job Kuro leaning into their own strengths!

I like livestreams personally, so I hope they still work on directing them better than the last one. Hoyo games do this same video style after a livestream is done, so nothing new lmao. Wish they showed off the gameplay a bit more but I guess leaks are fine to look at IF you desire now. The difference tho is that this game is VERY good and still new, so there's a lot of hype with no real expectations. Excited to see what's next for this game, definitely my most played gacha game during a launch. My favorite 1.0 by far since I didn't have any game breaking issues with the game, and we got all those compensations. And they're still giving us a ton in 1.1 alongside huge QoL (possibly even more compensations), they give even more rewards than Star Rail. I love that for sure. 🤣

Putting aside I prefer Jinhsi, I gotta say I do not like how flashy Changli's kit was (originally from leaks, now trailer). They look cool for sure, but in a game like this, I want to be able to see wtf is going on lol. Crazy how down bad Grandpa is as a married man. Def note a fan of the 5/5 standard/limited. Standard does feel much more valuable in this game and also much more scarce just for the wep banner, but that is not the way to fix that. (edit nvm thats nothing compared to the next slide holy)

You can look on the CN side where they showed more of both their gameplay. Jinhsi has a thing where she flies in the air and attack (when she has her horns) and her ult is dope asf.

Final Fantasy XIV does patch trailers and back in the old days, they basically laid everything out like this trailer does. Past few years, they’re more cinematic and show-no-tell but I more appreciate the 4-5 minute info dump format

Yo I know we were all down bad for Jinlin but I'm sorry Changli took the crown the minute I saw her for 3 seconds on a video call in the story, and seeing her in 3D just confirms it. Also a melee fusion character which I've been itching for so hell yeah. Oh and everything else looks great too but I had a hard time focusing lol

Very good trailer, but as f2p skipping Changli weapon for sure because genesis is good for swords. saving up weapon pulls for that broadsword crit rate base that we hopefully will get in the future. (remember you can swap weapons in tower as long as you don't use characters at the same time). So getting sword + pistol from standard then getting 1 weapon of each types should be prio, atleast for me

I love how many pulls they are giving us. It also is probably allowing people to get the subscription and have it feel that it is worth it since pity isnt that far away

Kuro mainly does streams for half anniversary and anniversary revealing a lot of future content if the follow the same pattern as pgr. Please don't expect them to do livestreams for every version update. Most people just watch the condensed video with all the patches features. Mainly creators and their communities benefit from the livestream format from what i can tell at least. And don't get me wrong i want them to do consistent livestreams because it's fun for the communities but i'd keep my expectations low for that at least for now

Even as a jinhsi fan, with minimal interest in changli I feel they sold changli harder than jinhsi xD
