🔥 Hot Tamale Man! Rag by Herbert Ingraham, composed in 1909 🔥
This might be my favorite new piece that I've discovered in the last little while. The whole thing is a real earworm; It has the absolute catchiest B strain chorus and is super fun to play (I added an extra instance of the break-up and B strains just so I could hear them again!). Herbert Ingraham was another promising ragtime composer who died too soon, but left us with many high-quality rags, especially in 1909 the year before his death.
