Being from Louisiana I had never heard of hot tent camping until I came across your channel. Recently bought me a cheap one man tipi hot tent and cheap little stove to see if I'd enjoy it, and I have to say it's the best camping experience I've ever had. Thank you so much for all the advice you give and introducing me to this type of camping. My father who is 65 had never heard of this either. Bought him a tent and stove for Christmas and we went out Christmas night. And he enjoyed it immensely as well.
I went ahead and purchased this tent; your videos show just how much space are in these tents as well as the quality of the tent itself. I'll definitely keep watching your videos. Thanks, Chuck
I love how Boomer is sitting attentively watching the camera as you give as the lowdown on what's to come. It's as if he knows he's facing an audience! Too cute and he's very adorable.
The magic of the dynamic between you and Boomer is sweetly contagious. I can hardly wait for the birthday party you have planned for Boomer's first year! Hope to see you, Kendra, and your new baby boy at that special shindig. What an incredible spot you found with the lake and the ocean. So peacefully perfect! Camp on, you two. ❤️
Bonjour, d'abord je tiens à vous souhaiter tous mes voeux 2023 et un partage de vidéo toujour intéressant et captivant. Hello, first of all I would like to wish you all my best wishes for 2023 and always interesting and captivating video sharing.
I am chuckling at the fusion dish you've made on this trip. 😄 I'm so glad you guys found Boomer and removed him from that situation. This spot is incredible especially with the sound of waves crashing. I would have slept amazingly. Hope you had a great New Years Eve!
Hi, love this wood stove! Great for keeping you warm! I enjoyed this video, but I missed where your at! I'm from Alberta Canada! Hope all's well with Kendra and pregnancy! That's awesome that you rescued him! We're looking for a rescue as well! Our last one was and lived for almost 17 years! He was a peekanese cross! We really enjoyed the adventure you and Kendra did for the week! Take care and be safe! Hope to hear baby news soon!
As i see from your channel you can almost take any tent and built-in a wood stove hole for the chimney. Great idea ! Thank you for sharing all the detailed actions and equipment, good job !!
Oh my gosh! Boomer has got to be one of the cutest little dogs I've ever seen!! ☺️ I could cuddle him all day long! ♥️ I'm originally from Northern Ontario and the only thing that keeps me from missing it is the mountains that surround me. Enjoying your channel.. and I've just subscribed! Keep keeping it real! 💪🇨🇦⛺
Boomer finds all sorts of things to play with and keep himself occupied he keeps us so entertained and the rocks of so many different colors are gorgeous
How about plats some trees now and then when it gets warmer? Would be a cool touch. Pick best sapling for whatever area or soil you're at if its different parts of the country. Up here in the North we thought winter would be snowy forever but if we have a few days worth of snowfall and ground being covered, then we're lucky. The heat during summertime is unheard of. Every summer its a new record.
I’ve been watching some of your older videos while you are enjoying the new family. Your videos are my guilty pleasure as the stresses of the day disappear. Watching Boomer enjoy life is awesome!! The quality of your videos are outstanding❤
You should post links to your gear in every video. I know it might be a bit tedious but think worth it. I’m looking for some new gear and this stove/tent look perfect for what I’m looking for. Enjoyed the vid!
Honestly never thought to make coffee this way. I’ve been looking into stopping my use of coffee pods for single cups of coffee to decrease trash. Tried your way this morning and worked wonderful. Thank you!
I have the same geertop orange tent that you have. I just put a stove jack in, and I got the danchel two window titanium stove. Hopefully I can get out there.
Hey, absolutely love your content and have started following for the last year or so. Really sparked my love for camping again. I had a question pertaining to this Naturehike Opulus. I've been really interested in this tent for a while so I was curious about which size your particular unit is. Do you have another video on your channel I could find that shows how you modified the tent to be a hot tent? If not, would you be willing to make a video showing us how you added the stovepipe hole safely and such? It's a pretty phenomenal set up and I would love to do the same should I get the Opulus.
This isn't a Naturehike Opalus though..it's a Pomoly Locomotive...made after the Opalus and strikingly similar with a couple of cool changes...for example, ot comes as a hot tent. No conversion required.
Happy birthday, Boomer. You’re a natural at curling. Those terrier/chihuahua mixes are a gas. We just adopted one from a shelter. Named Ozzie, he’s the latest in a long, long line of “rescues” we’ve taken in over the years. Great video to start off the New Year.
Looks like Pomoly took a liking to the mod you did to the NatureHike Hiby tent and made their own called the LEO 2. Not sure if you're still cool with Pomoly but figured I would point it out. Neat to see your influence on gear manufacturers.
Hi James, greetings from Kent,England. I am right now ( in the rash cold winter) admiring your enthusiasm for wild camping all year round. I have to wait until the temperature reaches the marks of at least minimum 10 through the nights, so that I feel brave enough to go camping. 😁 Do you mind telling me about that tent you are using in this video? Cheers!!
Happy New Year Jeremy! 🎉 All the best to you & yours in 2023. Do you have any idea as to the release date from Pomoly on that style of hot tent? I have a Naturehike Opalus tent without the stove jack and I really like that style of tent. I took advantage of Pomoly's Xmas deals and jumped for a T1 mini stove and a stovehut tent but had I known they were going to release their own version of the Opalus style of tent, I would've waited. Anyhow, love your vids and keep up the great work! All the best from Keith in Connecticut.👍🏕️☕
Happy new year Wolf and Boomer. Lovely area . Winter brings its own beauty. Lovely to see Boomer running around playing and yeah, we know he will in either in front of the stove or on the bedding lol. Would be fab if you shared his birthday party with us. Do you not grind your own coffee any more, or do you buy it already ground? Did you and Kendra get your wooden spoons finished? We know we won't be seeing Kendra for a while as preparations are made for the arrival of baby Wolf. Please pass on best wishes to her. Look forward to the next video, stay safe 🙂🙂
Boomer was made for you and your wife! Just make him feel like he's part of the baby as well and he'll protect her/him with all he has... thanks again guys, Awesome as usual!💯
Ahhh!..a BIRTHDAY for Lil boomer..can't wait to see it!!🤩😍🥰💯💕💞🐶🎂🎉🎈🎁happy bday Lil baby boomer..THANK YOU FOR RESCUING HIM..!! Now he is in a loving home..THANK YOUUU!!🙏🙏🙏
Wow! Look at Boomer chomp down that Big Boy Dog Food! He is so awesome. 🥰 "Dad" is awesome as well. 🙂 I'm working on Grandchildren! 😯😳🤗 My daughter is, anyway. 😌
My hot tent finally came in the mail it's a four-man TB hot tent I thought it was a mountain cattle but it's another brand starts with a m r something I don't know micro or or Moto or something I don't know but then I have my Lily stove going to finally use both of them together this weekend for 3 Days Friday night Saturday night and half of Sunday cuz I got to be home for work on Monday but yep I'm going to do a hot tent adventure finally
Hey still lovin the vids🤘 I see a lot of channels taking ques from your production style so you're doin something right. Quick tip - For hard, rocky, and / or frozen ground, use long skinny tapcons with a small light ratcheting wrench. Never let's me down 😁
Do you recomend this tent? I’m thinking of buying it and you have experience with many hot tents so I thought you can give the best answer. Great content!
Why do you cut wood backwards?Wouldn't it make sense to cut the opposite of the way you have and let the tree hold onto it while at the right height,Not to mention, beats you on your kness at the tent holding onto and cutting it with your only 2 hands?
MC TO I think is how they spell it but I don't know I hope it's a good hot tent it comes with a stove jack which I was having a hard time finding a tent that came with a stove jack so I bought that one and you do four people in there with a stove it's only me but I like having a lot of room stack a lot of wood in there cuz I usually go out for 3 days at a time when I was summer camping now I'm winter camping and if it goes as well I'll keep it at the 3 days at a time
