My favorite parts of all of these videos is when he sits down with a cup of coffee and just nods into the distance.

Jeremy, the view shown when you were sitting by the ocean with the icicles hanging behind..just absolutely beautiful. Be safe my friend, that one looked wicked.

Helpful Hint: to those who are camping out using a wood stove,always bring extra wood with you because sometimes their may not be any woods or trees where you camp.

How interesting it was to see how much gear you could fit in your backpack. I must say; that you really appear as a true nature lover. I myself am a "frozen stick" by nature, but I can see the beauty of sitting and enjoying the fantastic view you had over the sea while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. Thanks for showing a different way to camp even in freezing temperatures!😄😄

Amazing scenery! Love this particular tent because the color is so vibrant and it contrast so beautifully with the snow around it! The sound of the crashing waves goes great with that cup of coffee! 51:08, my God! 😍 What a background!!

I'm currently homeless living out my car. Watching this video makes me wanna switch back over to my tent. Definitely nice video to watch I have enjoyed every moment off it. This winter have been very brutal for me. Thank God I got a sleeping bag couple blankets and also propane one eye stove. Definitely helps for boiling water soup's as well.

Outstanding video Jer. I just want to say that was some 'relaxing' extreme adverse conditions with minimal gear. One of the greatest gifts you have given me from all the videos is a sense or preparedness. I have purchased, tested, and packed the gear you use from Pomoly to Boreal and beyond! I have it packed in my truck every time I go out past cell signal and more. I have only hot tent camped a dozen or so times, but knowing it is there helps. The trails in New Mexico can be harsh and surprising in the least with crazy elevation changes as you reach the Colorado territory. Thank you Sir again for sharing all of this!

The scene was GORGEOUS!! It actually reminded me of the film "The Day After Tomorrow." A film about global warming. Thanks for explaining more about what you bring with you: snacks, dinner, etc. Plus what you do after going inside for the night and possible risks to look out for. Wool is the best outdoor cold weather gear, keeps most of its insulating ability even when it’s wet. Hard to go wrong with wool.

Good,we can only dream of snow and sea side camping.

You want to boil water before adding it to that bialetti, then put the coffee in top it and put back on the heat. It reduces brew time and produces a better coffee.

It must be really windy - usually you don't cover up the bottom of the tent with snow to the block the air. You need some jarred powdered chicken broth for hot drinks in the evening. It comes low sodium. This is the windiest one I have seen. Glad the morning is calmer. Love the ice on the trees in mid-air like a waterfall. Know you like to rough it but there are those little hand warmer packets in put in gloves.

I can only dream of what that must be like to sit by the ocean (with my coffee) and the snow blowing and the waves crashing. So love it ! Once again a great video

People think I am nuts for intentionally putting myself in situations where my shelter and my gear is all that is keeping me safe. I think it may be a primal feeling because I cannot really explain it, but it's the only time im truly comfortable.

After seeing many of these videos and gear reviews, I haven't heard (other than weight) what the advantage of having a tent with no floor. I'd think that a floor would be a good barrier to snow, dirt/mud, bugs, and other advantages. What am I missing? Is it just weight? Thanks for any input.

What a gorgeous camp!! Glad you can still use that tent for when it is not raining. That color is just awesome for contrast and lighting it up for the night shots!! Looks like all the stitched anchor points are now holding up after that incredible night of wind. I sure hope that company has made some revisions because it "looks" like a nice tent. Magnificent desolation. I’ve been to Antarctica Elephant Island and followed the trials of Ernest Shackleton and the failure of his race to the S Pole, the catastrophic ice crush of his ship etc. Even Antarctica in the austral summer is not as cold as in the north where you are.

I can understand the moving the snow around the open bottom so the wind doesn't go under the opening. This is exactly what would you would have to do with the Opulas 2 tent which is what other youtube reviewers said would make it a 4 season tent
